⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Peaceful Family Holiday in Beautiful Surroundings We stayed at Grecotel Casa Paradiso for one week from 5th July as a family of four (two adults and two children aged 5 and 2), and overall we had a wonderful holiday. The hotel is in a beautiful part of Kos. Surrounded by mountains with lovely sea views and just a short walk from the beach, it’s the perfect place if you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing family holiday. There is also easy access to public transport if you want to explore the island. The food was good with plenty of variety, so there was always something for everyone. The pool snack bar deserves a special mention – it was fantastic! Fresh gyros, sandwiches, fruit bowls, freshly made waffles and ice cream were available throughout the day, so you were never hungry. We also loved having unlimited access to coffee machines, soft drink stations and self-service ice, which was a really nice touch. The restaurant staff, bar staff and housekeeping team were all exceptional. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and worked incredibly hard. The cleaning ladies especially did everything they could to help us with the only major issue we experienced. Unfortunately, our room had a significant ant problem. We ended up placing wet towels under the doors and over the air vents to stop them coming inside. They were everywhere – on our pillows during the night, inside the wardrobe, in our clothes and even in our shoes. Housekeeping really tried their best to help, but it was still an unpleasant experience. The only other disappointment was the reception. When checking out, we weren’t asked how our stay had been or even thanked for visiting. Throughout the holiday, the restaurant staff regularly checked that everything was okay, but unfortunately the reception team didn’t. Reception is the first and last impression guests have of a hotel, so this felt like a missed opportunity. There were also a couple of smaller points. The bathroom drains occasionally had an unpleasant smell, and with only one bar open in the evenings, queues for drinks could become quite long. The children’s mini disco was another area that could be improved. It felt quite slow and lacked energy, with most of the music aimed at German guests and very few English songs, so our children lost interest quite quickly. Despite these issues, we genuinely enjoyed our stay. This hotel is ideal for families looking for a quieter holiday away from busy resorts, with beautiful scenery, good food and hardworking, friendly staff. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Simply because of the ant problem, the lack of engagement from the reception team, the evening bar queues and the children’s entertainment. Fix those, and this hotel would easily deserve a five-star review. We would happily return to this lovely part of Kos.

“Sunbed Nightmare”

Generally good. Nice infrastructure, restaurant repetitive but good. What is a nightmare is the disgusting attitude from the hosts concerning the sunbed reservation Even if this is clearly mentioned as forbidden there is no sunbed free at the pool because people wake up early to put towels on them, then they only arrive at the pool in the afternoon. Your staff does not react and do not act. So we are obliged to act ourselves. Even if we they to talk to the people nicely they react agressively, this brings tension and conflits between hosts. You should or remove the signs on the umbrellas or react in the proper way. Also please mention on your website that sunbeds are reserved early by impolite people, this Will inform the correct people not to come to your hôtel. I am still present 9 days so if you have a solution for me please contact me directly.
