This place exceeded expectations. When we arrived very late after a very rough ferry ride we were exhausted and just wanted in our room, so our individual converter ge checked us in in our rooms, which made all the difference. Our room loooked like the pics online and was perfect, especially since it was our last island this trip. We had perfect views of the ocean from our deck which also included a hot tyb and hammock. The beach beds right in the beach were comfortable and made for a great experience. The only two drawbacks in my opinion are at breakfast you can’t get a specialty coffee until after 9 when the bar opens up and service from the hotels beach bar while you are lounging by the beach in the beds that surround it was not great- had to flag a waiter down every time I wanted something, left empty glasses and food plates would just walk by then and nit even look at them-but neither of those things took away from our overall enjoyment of Artemis.

“relaxing in timeless luxury”

we wanted to go last year but was fully booked for our dates! So this year we made reservations early and we are glad to have visited Milos. Its so relaxed compared to santorini or mykonos. we wanted to go last year but was fully booked for our dates! So this year we made reservations early and we are glad to have visited Milos. Its so relaxed compared to santorini or mykonos. Its way les crowded asnd has a back in time vibe that we enjoyed so much. I am thinking about buying property there i fell so in love with the island's charm. Only I really dont like that i have to go to athens first and then stop to go to milos. No direct flights from my or any of close airports to me....

“Beautiful Hotel with High-Touch Service”

Every interaction with the hotel reception (especially Elisabeth and her colleague that was their daily (sorry, I have forgotten her name!)), from booking a transfer to-from ferry to help with rental car to a late check out was seamless and beyond helpful. Made out stay even better. We had a sea view room for three nights with hot tub, which is late September was perfect. Our room was large and private and the terrace space was exceptional. Had Everty thing we needed. Breakfast was great, many options and tasty. We did dinner one night and was good, though not many patrons and the dining space felt vacuous with no people. Plenty of comfortable loungers and sunbeds at pool and beach. The island has gorgeous beaches so also recommend exploring, as the hotel is blissfully out of the way of the fray, so need a car to get around and see all that Milos has to offer. Already planning the next visit!

I struggled with how to rate this resort as it's really a mixed bag. We stayed here for 5 days and at the end, I have to give it an "average" rating. Pros: Nice staff, helpful with issues (we had a problem with our shower and someone was there in minutes to address it), breakfast is very good, and the location was beautiful and a lot of fun if you enjoy snorkeling. Room: decent size, great AC, good bed, and decent Wi-Fi (not great, but good enough). Cons: Everything is very expensive and there is nothing here except a few restaurants - be prepared to spend a lot on food. I have to agree with another reviewer who said the Artemis website is deceptive. We had an ocean front room with a private pool (which is just a hot tub that doesn't heat up). The website makes it look somewhat private, but it isn't at all. People are walking by your outdoor pool area constantly and there was even a lot of hotel staff back and forth all of the time. I could look over the balcony to the rooms below, so they had no privacy either (see pics). In other words, it's just not as nice as it appears to be online. Also, our private pool was filthy the entire time we stayed (yes, I could have asked and they would probably have cleaned it, but at this price point, I shouldn't have to ask). The room was nice and nicely decorated, although it had some odd design flaws (no closet, no lighting over bathroom vanity, no larger mirror in bathroom to get ready in front of, no towel hooks, or places in the shower to put shampoo and such - just an odd design). In the end, we enjoyed our stay here, but I'm sorry to say, it's just not worth the price point and the resort isn't as nice as it appears online.
