I booked our 7 night stay earlier in the year for myself snd partner staying in the main building in a Comfort double room at the beginning of June. We were very pleased with our room, the view from the balcony, gorgeous. We had a full fridge of soft drinks and water which staff replenished daily. Whilst our room was not serviced everyday, but most days, we were happy with the room service received. After a couple of days we got to grips with the hotel layout and became familiar with the 3 restaurants and various bars. The daily breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet served was extremely good. The options of food plentiful and very good quality. If you struggled to find anything to eat, I would say , it wasn’t because the food selection was poor but you’re a fussy eater! We ate 3 times in 2 of the 3 restaurants, and were served each time by the very attentive , friendly, polite staff. The food was delicious. The scenery and sunset stunning. The drinks served in the bars especially, cocktails were very good. Yes, as some others have commented, the service could be a little slow esp on the roof top bar, but we didn’t feel ignored by any means. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. The beach, facilities, staff, food, decor excellent. Credit to all the staff, it was very apparent how hard you all work, especially in the main dining areas. I would definitely recommend a visit to the beautiful hotel and resort. It ticked all the boxes for us. My only word of warning would be, get your calves warmed up! As unless you take a hotel buggy ride up the steep climbs to the hotel from the beach, you’re going to get a good leg workout! Enjoy!!

PLEASE ignore the negative reviews. My husband and I are well travelled and this is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. We were there for 10 nights for our Anniversary. During that time we were surprised by two gifts left by the hotel including a visit to one of the restaurants for their "Breakfast Stories". Yes, by some standards and some hotel chains, it might not be the 5* you are used to but my god it gives them a good run for their money. The staff, whether they be cleaners, maids, pool boys, bar people and restaurant staff are lovely. Very hard working and always have a smile. The restaurants/food: Unless you are the pickiest person you will find something to eat. There is always various meats and poultry available whether plain grilled or in a sauce. There were also good vegetarian options and the Greek salad was amazing. They even had a slightly Asian themed evening with duck, spring rolls and stir-fried veg. The desserts are delicious as my straining waistband will tell you. Of the two a la carte restaurants we tried, NAFS was my favourite. We didn't try the snack bar, but from what we heard the food there was great too. Sunbeds: If you want to be on the beds that overlook the sea you do need to get down early. Lucky for my husband I wake at stupid o'clock even when on holiday. So I was down by the pool by 7ish most days. I managed to grab us the same beds for our whole stay. I rarely bother with breakfast so it meant I plotted up and watched the fun and games. I do find it unfair that their are those who come and reserve beds even earlier than I did but did not actually sit on them for over four hours 😱 Was a good karma day when I saw their stuff get moved by another guest an hour before they appeared. But, this happens at all hotels around the world. There are the usual signs saying please do not reserve beds but this is not acted upon. Yes. There are a few things that could be improved, but again personal choice. For instance the wardrobe is small. But there are loads of shelves and a set of draws. I personally would like to see the draws moved to under the console table so that you have full length hanging space as even my husbad's tops didn't have room to hang straight. Two bits of advice bring travel hangers and a wardrobe dehumidifier bag. People mentioned a sewage smell, while we were waiting for our transfer at reception that was the first time we really noticed the sewage smell. Maybe we were lucky because we were in block one swim out. But on leaving we found the cause which was the drains, or whatever they do, being emptied. There was one guest who while we were there swamped the "Friends" FB page for their 10 day stay, took every freebie going, said how amazing the staff had been, asked for everyone to follow them on their wannabee influencer page and then as they left the hotel and was practically driving down the road slagged it off and removed themselves straight away!

Had a fantastic stay at Ella Alkyna and would definitely recommend it! The hotel is in a beautiful location, the facilities are great, and the whole atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing holiday. What really stood out, though, was the service from the Front Office team. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist with anything we needed. Kostas, their manager was incredibly professional and approachable, and genuinely cared about making sure guests had a great experience. He clearly leads by example, and his whole team reflects that. Whether it was answering questions, helping with requests, or simply greeting us with a smile, his staff made us feel welcome from day one. The only area that could use some improvement is the hotel app. While it is useful, some of the information was not always fully up to date, and a few features could be made more user-friendly. Improving the app would make the overall guest experience even better. Thank you for helping make our holiday so enjoyable. We would happily stay here again!

“Amazing!”

I would come back for this hotel 100%. Everything was perfect, from the food to the beach, to the staff and to the facilities it has. Thanks a lot also for the photographer Danijel, he did a very nice job and he is a very friendly person :).
