An enormous thank you to Irene for the lovely welcome on arrival and friendly chats during our wonderful two week holiday in the Irene Wellness Spot apartments. A very special mention to Christina and Makela, the amazingly attentive hosts in the taverna/ bar(always smiling, kind and helpful) and thanks to the very hardworking housekeeping lady too. The three ladies are all an absolute asset to this hospitality business and can’t do enough to make you feel welcomed and valued guests. We stayed in Room 303, a spacious modern comfortable room with huge outside terrace and view of the beautifully presented garden. The room was cleaned most days with a good supply of clean towels and clean bed linen during our stay (unique service compared to our other well enjoyed visits to Corfu over the past 20 + years). The extensive breakfast buffet included a great range of cold and hot items along with a good variety of hot and cold drinks, fresh fruit, bread and pastries. The location is perfect for visiting long stretch of beach, shops and dining at the many tavernas (in our experience all with extensive menus and exceptional service (we dined at 10 different tavernas and look forward to dining at others during our next visit!) All in all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday experience which was great value for money. Thanks again Irene and Team. All the very best for the rest of the season.

We had a wonderful stay at Irene Wellness apartments. A separate building to the rear of the pool which could be accessed via the pool area until 9pm or down a side road between 2 car rental businesses just down the road at all hours. Our ground floor room was spacious, clean and well-positioned for a beautiful view of the pool area and mountains beyond. Other guests said the higher floor rooms also had sea views. The rooms were cleaned 6 days a week and towels and bedding were changed regularly. The shower was large with great water pressure and hot water day and evening. The staff were very polite, friendly and accommodating. We had lunch at the pool several times and the food was delicious and well priced. We are already talking about returning next year we enjoyed our stay so much.

Ignore negative comments about lack of water, rude staff and no meet & greet! We arrived at 11pm and were greeted by friendly people who showed us our room. Ignore negative comments about lack of water, rude staff and no meet & greet! We arrived at 11pm and were greeted by friendly people who showed us our room. Rooms are clean & cleaned daily, bed comfy & air con great. Though you have to ask & pay for air con. The pool area is lovely with a backdrop of hills & trees & frogs busy at night. Interesting background sound while sipping cocktails. I recommend bbq night at Irene's. For €23 pp, you get a lot of meat & salads. Not sure about veggie options though. Pool staff were very friendly with special shout out to Christina who worked long hours but was always smiling. Shops and restaurants a few minutes walk & beach at bottom of a hill. Long sandy beach, loads of bars & cafes and sea was warm at the end of May. Only niggle is the apartments overlooking the main street so car fumes & noise were not conducive to evening drinks on the balcony! Though patio doors are double glazed & keep noise out at night. There are stairs to the apartments & pool area, so if you have mobility issues, it might not be ideal. Probably best to book at the Wellness Centre as it overlooks the pool. Con recommend food at Sebastians & Lynda. Friendly staff who remember you after just one meal. By the third visit staff at Sebastians were recommending food based on our previous meals. Brilliant. Overall Irene's is a good base for a pool & beach holiday. And, as always, all the Greek people we met in shops, restaurants, bars, and cleaning our rooms were wonderful. Friendly & welcoming.

Electric kept going off at night and water pressure was really bad we couldn’t shower one day or flush the loo. There was a hairdryer in one of the draws didn’t realise till last day. Pool area really quiet and peaceful,pool bar amazing food good prices and great service. No hassle for a sun-bed we came may 12-19 A few-people around. Town was good for food little Italy great pizzas and could take away,Sebastian’s worth a visit great food and service. We were b&b breakfast was buffet style from 9-10.30 quite minimal but did the job. Frogs !! 🐸 there’s a stream running by the hotel you can hear the frogs. It was ok had better had worse.
