We recently stayed at Lido Sofia for 6 days and had the most wonderful experience! We booked the Studio with Sea View. The apartment was incredibly spacious with two large rooms. The first room had a large double bed and the second room had a pull out sofa to accommodate two more guests. The balcony was much bigger than expected, extending the length of the two rooms. Balcony was equipped with four chairs and a large table as well as a drying rack. There was air conditioning in both rooms, at no extra charge. There is a large kitchen with fridge, freezer, hob, crockery and cutlery for light cooking, a kettle for coffee/tea, extra bin bags and complimentary water. Everything was thought of! We were even kindly provided with mosquito repellent plug-ins. Everything is immaculately clean. The beds are comfortable. Extra pillows and blankets provided in the room. Rooms were cleaned/towels and sheets changed after three nights. Our bins were full before this, we put the bags outside the room and they were collected. The hosts are incredibly friendly and hospitable. Nothing was ever too much trouble and every morning we were greeted with a smile. We enjoyed many drinks down by the pool as the view is absolutely breathtaking especially at sunset. The pool is warm, spacious and deep enough for diving. There is also a smaller children’s pool. The pool bar offers drinks and light meals including souvlaki which is homemade. There are plenty of sunbeds, we were never unable to find space by the pool. The hotel is roughly 5-10 minutes walk down to the beach and tavernas. The walk down is much easier than the walk up. I would like to note for those who may be less mobile, the hotel is at the top of an extremely steep hill. We are two healthy individuals in our 30’s and still found the hill quite exhausting in the heat. Many other guests had hired cars and there is allocated parking for hotel guests at the front of the apartments. The hotel is about half an hour drive to Corfu Town by car. There is a bus service (Green Bus) that runs roughly 6 buses per day from Agios Gordios to Corfu Town. The stop is at the bottom of the hill, just before the road to the beach. You can buy tickets with cash only at the shop next to the stop. The bus will drop you off at the Old Town, but to get back you will have to go to the Green Bus Terminal which is a short walk out of the town. There is a shop directly across the road from the hotel but we found this shop has limited items and charges over the legal minimum for bottled water (50cl is capped at €0,50). The shops down by the beach adhere to the regulated prices and offer greater variety. On the beach there are also plenty of tavernas and restaurants serving traditional Greek food. Everything about our stay at Lido Sofia was amazing. This hotel is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the spectacular view. Great for families, couples or solo travellers. The hosts were so kind and run a beautiful hotel. Thank you for everything. We hope to return soon!

We didn't stay at these apartments; we just used the pool, thanks to an agreement evidently in place between this property and the one where we were staying. For a week, almost every evening, we gathered around the delightful poolside: relaxing, partially shaded, and barely crowded (perhaps because it was mid-June?), with a splendid view of the coast below. My eight-year-old granddaughter, in particular, delighted in the two pools, one specifically for children and one for adults, while we mostly watched over her from the lounge chairs. A wonderful experience!

From the moment we arrived at Lilo Sofia, we knew we had found something special. It’s run by the wonderful Sofia and George, and their son Michalis , an amazing family who make you feel welcome the second you walk through the gate. The apartments are absolutely spotless and cleaned so regularly you’d swear they were brand new every day. The pool area is simply stunning, with views that take your breath away. Sitting there in the evening, watching the sunset over Agios Gordios, you can’t help but feel completely relaxed. What really makes Lilo Sofia stand out is the warmth of the people. Sofia, George, and Michalis put their hearts into everything they do ,whether it’s making sure you’re comfortable, sharing local tips, or just greeting you with a genuine smile. Their kindness and care turn a holiday into something you’ll always remember. We’ve stayed in Agios Gordios a few times, but nowhere compares to this. It’s clean, peaceful, beautifully kept, and filled with genuine Greek hospitality. We left feeling like part of the family and can’t wait to come back. Simply the best place to stay in Agios Gordios. 💙

We stayed here for a week and were so impressed with these apartments, wonderful location set up a hill with amazing views. The apartment was really lovely, it had everything we needed, a great bathroom with a large shower, huge comfy bed and large balcony. It was the nicest Greek apartment we have ever stayed in. We appreciated the little touches like mosquito machines and liquid hand soap and free safe. The room was cleaned nearly every day too. We didn’t spend much time around the pool but it was all extremely clean and staff very friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.
