A Peaceful Stay with a Beautiful View – Our Honest Experience We had a pleasant stay at this hotel – while it may not be for everyone, many travelers will appreciate its relaxing atmosphere. Below is our honest account of the experience, which might help you decide if it's the right place for you. Check-in & Room Check-in was quick and smooth. A friendly lady at the reception handed us the key to our room (no. 412) and a card that served two purposes – to activate the electricity and, in some rooms, to open the door (ours still had a traditional key). A city tax of €35 was charged upon arrival. We were also informed that flushing toilet paper is not allowed – which is common in many southern countries. Our room was on the third floor – small, but cozy and functional. It had a large, comfortable bed, individually controlled air conditioning, a TV mounted on the wall near the bathroom, a dressing table with a mirror, and an open wardrobe with a few hangers (we recommend bringing extra ones). There was also a safe available for an additional €10 for the stay. The balcony was equipped with two chairs, a small table, and an ashtray. The view was lovely – olive groves right below, and the sea visible to the left. Very relaxing! The bathroom had a shower without a curtain, so you do need to be careful not to splash water around. The water temperature ranged from lukewarm to warm – just fine given the summer heat. Our room was cleaned daily around 10 AM. Housekeeping emptied the bathroom bin, tidied the bed, and mopped the floor. Towels and bed linen were changed upon request – overall, the cleanliness was great. Food Meals were served buffet-style, and we found them tasty and varied – especially lunch and dinner. There was a good selection of meats, fresh salads, desserts, and fruit. Breakfasts were more repetitive, but still offered plenty of choices: cold cuts, cheese, spreads, hard- and soft-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, and cereals. Drinks included coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and juice from cartons. There’s something for everyone – we were never hungry. Drinks & Bar Drinks were served by young, friendly staff – in plastic cups, yes, but they were tasty and well-balanced (not watered down). Draft beer was cold, and although the soft drinks were not branded, it didn’t bother us. The bartenders were doing a great job – we left tips several times to show our appreciation. Pools & Amenities There are two pools: a children’s paddling pool and a deeper pool for adults. Both were clean and well-maintained, though only open until 7 PM. Sunbeds with mattresses and umbrellas were available. Pool/beach towels could be rented at reception for €10 per person for the stay – we thought a refundable deposit might have made more sense, but it’s still cheaper than €5 per towel per day on the beach. Entertainment & Beach There’s no entertainment program in the hotel – during our stay, only one evening featured live music. This is a hotel for those who prefer peace and quiet over nightlife and animation. A hotel shuttle (a 6-seater minibus) takes guests to the beach between 10:00–11:00 and brings them back between 13:00–14:00. It makes several trips depending on demand. The beach itself is beautiful, with sunbeds available for rent (15–20 euros depending on the spot). The shoreline is rocky in places, but if you walk a little, you’ll find sandy areas with easy access to the water – water shoes are not necessary. Summary If you're looking for a quiet place with good food, clean rooms, and friendly staff – this hotel might be a great choice. It’s not a resort packed with activities, but it offers beautiful views, a relaxed atmosphere, and a chance to truly unwind. We’re happy with our stay and don’t regret choosing this place!
