The Bella Venezia is a charming and historic hotel in a perfect location. From the moment we arrived, we felt like welcomed special guests. The hotel has so many beautiful touches like the book about the history of the hotel given to each guest upon arrival, welcome drinks, chocolates on the pillows, gifts, and even Korres bath products (yay!). The breakfast is set in the hotel's lovely back garden and has local foods to sample. Our room was crisp, fresh, and comfortable. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood but only a few minutes away from the main areas. From breakfast to the front desk, the staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive. They even arranged for our rental car and escorted us to their parking lot. Well done and thank you for a wonderful stay in Corfu!

I spent a long time researching my accommodation in Corfu. I knew it would be hot so a comfortable hotel was essential. The Bella Venezia kept coming up as a favourite, though somewhat pricier than the rest in this area. It is on a quiet road a few steps from the start of the old town but away from crowds. On entering you are greeted by a smiling receptionist and a concierge. To the left is a very comfortable seating area with a discreet bar counter and onwards through a side door into the lovely garden. Another soft chair seating area and also the foliage covered awning which is the breakfast area. Off this, and inside, the buffet breakfast is laid out and there are also tables if you prefer to sit inside. Breakfast is Greek style but there is also a lady cooking eggs. The plates I saw being delivered to tables were very tempting. There is a good lift to bedrooms. My room had an excellent bathroom with good shower and large window. Everything was very clean and well maintained. All windows had double wooden doors and shutters. The bedroom had another large window to the side and also a balcony overlooking the garden. Everything worked. There was hot water at all times. The air con was very effective. The room had a safe, electric kettle, complimentary bottled water replaced daily, a T.V., safe and fridge. There is low key entertainment by a Greek trio on a Wednesday and jazz on a Saturday. This finishes at 11 p.m. I did check out other 4 star hotels in the area. They felt a bit like b and bs with reception and a lift on the ground floor and no hotel atmosphere. You get what you pay for! There isn't a swimming pool. If I were to book again, this hotel would definitely be my first choice. Staff was exceptional and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. As a solo traveller, I felt safe, secure and well looked after.

Beautiful place. Run very efficiently. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. We had romantic room with balcony which was very quiet. Very comfortable bed. Staff helped with the car hire too but make sure you reserve parking. Just a very short stroll into Corfu town with its many bars, cafes and restaur… more

Staff helped with the car hire too but make sure you reserve parking. Just a very short stroll into Corfu town with its many bars, cafes and restaurants. Would definitely go again. Only small thing.. rooms are very small 🙂

“Try to get a corner room”

Great location, super attentive staff, and lovely garden. Just choose your room carefully if you’re sensitive to noise. We had booked one of the two romantic rooms which was on the first floor directly above the front desk and at the top of the stairs. We could hear the phone ringing and people tal… more

Great location, super attentive staff, and lovely garden. Just choose your room carefully if you’re sensitive to noise. We had booked one of the two romantic rooms which was on the first floor directly above the front desk and at the top of the stairs. We could hear the phone ringing and people talking in the lobby area especially early in the morning. Also be aware that the shower and sink are part of the bedroom with just a clear glass divide. The staff kindly moved us to a lovely corner room on the same floor which was great so try to get one of those if you can. Room type aside, we loved our stay at this hotel and would definitely stay again.
