An older hotel, although not much on the island is too old after the quake in 53, however, it was clean, tidy and overall very satisfactory. You’re a bit isolated without a car as there’s not much around but that’s not the hotel’s fault, the sea is just down the tias and very accessible is you’re happy with a bit of a walk. Staff were first rate, good was good provincial fair, all in all good value and very pleasant, a good pool, deep which is unusual at 3 metres in the deep end, plenty of lingers for all.

This hotel is a real hidden gem. At first glance, it has a slightly retro feel, but don’t let that put you off... it quickly becomes clear just how well cared for everything is. The rooms are spotless, and the entire hotel is immaculately clean and tidy throughout. The outdoor areas are beautifully maintained, with a clean pool and plenty of sunbeds always available, which made relaxing easy and stress-free. We stayed half-board, and the food was excellent. While the selection isn’t huge, everything is fresh, healthy, and full of flavour. The evening meals, in particular, stood out - freshly prepared each night with a lovely traditional Greek touch. The staff really add to the experience. Always helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The bar team were great, and Greek night is definitely worth experiencing for a bit of fun and atmosphere. The hotel is quite remote, so I’d recommend hiring a car (we did for the week, and it made exploring much easier). The nearby beach is fantastic for snorkelling. There are also a few lovely tavernas and well-stocked mini-markets close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and honestly, I’d be more than happy to return. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxed hotel with beautiful views, no loud music, and a calm, laid-back atmosphere, this is the perfect spot... and it’s great value too.

Tucked away from the main drag the hotel occupies a wonderful south facing spot with an idillic view of the sea framed by the wooded peaks of the island. We usually only use the hotel as a base. However despite the hotels isolation from anything else we were more than happy to enjoy the peace and quite around the deep pool. Whilst the hotel is somewhat dated this did not detract at all with all the comforts needed. Everywhere was clean and well maintained. Particularly enjoyed the high pressure shower. The staff were friendly and good fun. The greek night was good entertainment. We booked bed and breakfast with a view to visting other places for lunches and dinners. However, the menu food was so good we spent most meals back at the hotel. A short walk down the hill is the access to the sea with the choice of a short sandy beach or on the right an expansive plateau rock with ladders into the turquoise and warm sea. Spent most days jumping off the rocks which was just fantastic moments. Delighted to have snorkelled here with a large turtle on the first day. There are two tavernas at the beach, both are recommended. Also did the ithica cruise which was fantastic. Hotel also assisted with hiring a car for a couple of days. Will certainly not hestitate to recommend and will be back to gisit again. The only change i would make is to do own transfers as the tui pick up arrived late.

We only booked a few weeks before we came and opted for Full Board as we knew we wouldn't be venturing far. I am Coeliac and am usually a bit nervous about food in restaurants but I needn't have worried! Breakfast was Greek yogurt and honey and each day there was a different selection of cooked food - I brought my own rolls but found out they did have gluten free bread! There was also bread/cakes that my husband enjoyed. Lunch was a salad AND a main and dinner was usually a choice of a meat dish, potatoes, vegetables and salad. I couldn't have the puddings (that hubby said were delicious) but there was also melon. The pool was lovely with a lifeguard every day. There were always enough sunbeds and also an undercover area with table tennis/pool. The rooms were basic (fridge, kettle, hairdryer) and fresh towels and bins were emptied every day. There was a little shop in reception selling crisps, snacks and souvenirs so no need to go to the shop outside that was too far in the heat. The beach was 10 minutes away but very small. All in all, we thought it was a lovely little hotel and great value for money!
