From start to finish this hotel and the staff surpassed our expectations for the price we paid ! We arrived early hours as we were delayed we were greeted at reception and taken for some fresh sandwiches and drinks for our room aswe we’re obviously peckish after a long day , our room was clean and tidy overlooking the pool where we made some amazing memories and met some wonderful people , We both broke our phones on a boat trip and the staff went above and beyond to help us find a shop to get them repaired! Always something at mealtimes for everyone to eat and a snack bar serving burgers, hot dogs, toasties and sandwiches etc , please ignore any negative reviews we would definitely return, Chris & Sarah evans (wales)

“Late Booking”

We booked this holiday fairly late and we are so glad we chose to come to the Amalia Hotel. It was a late arrival at the hotel, just before midnight, but sandwiches were waiting for us behind the bar, which was most welcomed. The staff are fantastic, friendly and very helpful. We wanted to use the bus service to Palaiokastritsa, and the lady behind reception printed off the timetable and explained how to catch the local bus, to meet up with the Green Bus service further down the road. They also booked us a great day out to Paxos and Antipaxos, arranged an early breakfast and gave us a packed lunch. They couldn’t have been more helpful. The room is quite small, but has a balcony, fridge, tea and coffee facilities plus a television and more than adequate for our stay. The food has been good and we have really enjoyed the Greek Desserts on the Menu. The drinks are served with a smile and of good quality. The bar overlooks the swimming pool which has plenty of sunbeds. That said we have tended to go to the beach at Barbati on the local bus. We did use the beach at Dassia, but although it is sandy, which is nice, the hotels seem to dominate the sunbeds. We did find a restaurant that had sunbeds for hire, but it is a fair walk down the beach. On certain nights there is entertainment in the bar, and the two girl singers were exceptionally good. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would come back at the drop of a hat, the brilliant staff make the place. Stephen and Jane Lincoln UK

What a fantastic holiday my first time in Corfu. We managed to get a room overlooking the pool which was very clean Just what we needed. I had seen some negative reviews but don't worry the room was a little small but adequate for our needs. The staff were helpful and friendly and they did organise a Durrell tour but we were too late in booking and there were no spaces left. We did organise a private tour with Anastasia who is the owner of Get Corfu Transfer. We went to the White House in Kalami, Danillia Village, Corfu Town and other stops on the island where the Durrell's lived and where the series The Durrell's was filmed. The food was good and the cocktails even better. We did eat Out a couple of time in Corfu Town and La Casa just over the road from the hotel. We did go to Alexandros as well but preferred La Casa. Loved the pool area especially the morning cat parade OOOOH BALLISMA. If you have stayed at this hotel you will know what this is about. I was a little apprehensive about the mosquitos as they have a field day with me but I took an array of products Pestects bands, Jungle Formula spray and plug in, Avon Skin So Soft Oil and citronella and lemongrass incense sticks for when we were sitting on the balcony and I did not get bitten once. What a lovely family run hotel well worth the money. We will be back soon
