We just wanted to share our experience ahead of our stay at Ikos Odisia - we have been overwhelmed by the support, kindness, professionalism and attention to detail of the guest relations and back of house team at ikos odisia - in particular Antiopi and Kira and the way they have worked together with some of the considerations we have bringing a family party with grandparents has just been brilliant - they have always taken time to come back to us when we know they are dealing with current guests to ensure our stay will be one to remember - we just wanted to say a massive thankyou to them and the team for all they do to try to make a difference

First, a little context about who we are, before you decide how much weight to give our opinion. We are selective travellers. We travel as a family, but all of us have become rather spoiled by stays at One&Only, Aman, St. Regis and Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties. We travel with our children, but we are not looking for a typical family resort experience. We appreciate exceptional dining and great wine, and would genuinely rather have nothing at all than settle for something mediocre. So perhaps we are not the easiest guests to impress. But when a hotel truly delivers, we are equally happy to say so. Ikos Odisia did. We had previously stayed at Ikos Aria and Ikos Oceania, but Odisia surpassed both. The resort is extensive, beautifully designed and, remarkably, never felt crowded despite operating at full occupancy. There is a sense of space and calm throughout the property that is difficult to achieve at a resort of this size. The greatest compliment, however, must go to the Food & Beverage team led by Elena Zachari. They made an extraordinary effort to understand our preferences and then exceeded them in every possible way. Wherever we went, our preferred wines were waiting for us perfectly chilled, and we were welcomed and looked after with a level of personal attention that transformed a very good resort experience into an exceptional one. Nothing felt difficult. Nothing was forgotten. The consistency was remarkable. The views from Elia and Olivia exceeded our expectations, and dining there became one of the highlights of our stay. Ikos Odisia manages to combine the facilities and freedom of a large resort with a level of personal recognition and genuine hospitality that is far more difficult to find. For demanding travellers who value excellent food, wine, space and genuinely attentive service, Ikos Odisia is an exceptional resort. We arrived with high expectations. We left impressed. And that does not happen very often.

This is my fourth year of being lucky enough to visit ikos odisia and it gets better every year! The staff are all so attentive and there is such a personal touch to all interactions with them. A huge thank you goes to Louis who works at the beach bar for always being so fun and patient and never once judgmental of my 10am aperol spritz orders. Another big thank you is owed to Milo’s, George, Mr Malamas and Elena for always going above and beyond to ensure that every day of our trip was amazing. Every meal was delicious and every single member off staff was always so helpful and friendly. I <3 ikos
