“Fair for a budget hotel, could do with some 'tweaks'”

Pros: Location was great! Right on the strip. Room beds were really comfortable! Slept really well. Staff were fantastic and very friendly. Nice pool Nice and very sufficient bar. Liked the security aspect with key card only entrance Rooms cleaned daily and thoroughly Cons: Tiny shower access. Pool beds very uncomfortable Breakfast not great Aircon very noisy Not a con as such but clientele is more mature category Overall: We had a lovely stay here, although we were very disappointed in the breakfast after hearing such good reviews but the breakfast area was always busy so maybe we are just a tad fussy. Location was a huge plus. Access to beach straight across the road and entertainment and great restaurants directly on your doorstep. Shower access was extremely tight, possibly better if they removed the screens and made more of an open wetroom. We loved Sidari as a whole and will definitely be back.

My Friends and l spent a week at the Hotel Mimosa. The hotel is a budget hotel, the rooms were no frills with a kettle and paper cups, l recommend you take your own mug,tea and coffee, the milk you can buy from the supper market close by and keep in the fridge in the room. The room had free aircon which was required, the room has a safe which you pay for, the television was working but no exciting programs , the beds were comfortable but a bit soft, the balcony was a good size with table and chairs no great views. The toilet was a good size but the shower cubicle was a bit small, there was plenty of hot water. The hotel has two pools which were very clean and inviting ideal for cold water swimmers, The hotel and rooms are kept very clean by a dedicated team of cleaners, the reception and bar staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is what you would expect from a no frills hotel with the tables kept clean by friendly staff. Now the subject of noise from across the road they do turn it down at 12 o clock, recommend cotton wool etc but the hotel is next to the strip. When you stand at the entrance with security gates which open with your key card, you can turn right for the bright lights ,noise and shops or turn left for the Greek experience, walk up the road and you will come across some great Greek restaurants serving great food. Also try a drink in the smugglers bar they have a pool you can use. The beach is just across the road from the hotel with bars etc. My friends and l had a great time, sad to leave Corfu. We will be back.

“Bit of a shock”

The hotel is perfectly place for beach, bars etc. Problem, doesn't show there worst rooms which unfortunately we were in, don't think it has ever been updated since built. The shower was too small, for ever mopping up water as it leaked badly, 4 draws for all your stuff, wardrobe just an old cupboa… more

The hotel is perfectly place for beach, bars etc. Problem, doesn't show there worst rooms which unfortunately we were in, don't think it has ever been updated since built. The shower was too small, for ever mopping up water as it leaked badly, 4 draws for all your stuff, wardrobe just an old cupboard, the bed very comfortable but bedding didn't even fit the bed, shelve which the kettle stood on was too small that if you wasn't careful you could knock it off. Friends saw our room and was shocked how basic it was compared to there's. Arriving very late at night they don't even give you a bottle of water or milk for being a late arrival, 2 stars on our room was correct. The staff do there best.

just had a one week stay here with easyjetholidays. I hired a car so that avoided the long transfer. just had a one week stay here with easyjetholidays. I hired a car so that avoided the long transfer. Check in was prompt and all staff we encountered were very pleasant. we went to the bar for a drink but it was 11 euros for a beer and a glass of wine. This was 8 euros down the street. Our room was a compact double with a cosy bed and a small balcony. there was the occasional party crowd being a bit noisy coming home late but otherwise we slept well. yes the showers are too small and I dont know how some of the clients, all who seemed to be english managed at all. air con was fine and free. rooms were cleaned regularly and the complex was tidy. breakfast was ok with decent bacon and sausages on offer, we didn't eat in the evening as there were too many Greek places to try. If staying here, when you exit the hotel, turn left for restaurants/bars because to your right is a strip of places which are all quite tacky. Would I stay again, probably not but it was fine
