“Good for short stay”

Nice little hotel in Sidari, about a two-hour airport transfer. Hotel was modern and room was clean on arrival. The air conditioning was not very good or did not work - we could not figure it out but we also did not ask for any help. Small pool area but never struggled to get a sunbed. Nice modern decor for a small hotel. Food was nice for us - lots of meat, and fish which we did not have. Most of the time there was always a pasta, sauce, soup, bread etc. Breakfast was cooked buffet with salad bar, bread and usually panckaes or pastries. No water included to bare that in mind. Juice and coffees at breakfast. We did not buy any drinks from the bar and found staff were not very keen of this, they like you to spend some money there - however we never didnt and did not affect us other than a lack of a smile. Brought a smoothie and had a problem with paying and they approached us later in day with slight hostility. We brought drinks from small shop on other side of the road, and kept hidden in a bag as they do not allow food or drink around the pool that had not been purchased on site. We booked our stay 12 hour before our flight, meaning we had no euros. We explained this and said we would pay the tourist tax after we go to an ATM. On the second day, we had a note in our room asking us to attend the front desk and pay our fee. Staff on reception were lovely and we explained and they were fully understanding. Short walk into town, lots of bars and shops. Beach was not anything special but some nice walks and make sure you see the Canal D'Amour at sunset!! Sidari is small, if we stayed longer we would have explored other towns close by. Overall, nice hotel for a stay in corfu. We paid 250pp for 4 nights halfboard with TUI the day before. Was great value but not sure if I would pay the upfront price.

“Stunning hotel - shame the food doesn’t match”

Stunning hotel. Great room, balcony & shower and we appreciated the big tv, fridge and air-con. Nice views (705). The pools, restaurant areas and bars are great - modern, stylish and spotless. Good location - nice and quiet about a 10 minute walk from town and there are some nearby hotels and bars. Convenient and friendly supermarket opposite. Sadly there is no water / tea or coffee supplied in room although there is a kettle and 2 cups and an ironing board, iron and hairdryer. We were half board and the food sadly was bland, limited and underwhelming. Felt more school dinners and travel lodge than 4* dining which was upsetting as we were so looking forward to tasty and fresh Greek food. The tourism tax on arrival stung (have 70 euros in cash as they don’t take card) - you also have to settle your bill for all drinks daily vs at the end of your stay. It’s the first time we’ve been half board in a 4* and had to pay for water, soft drinks or tea / coffee. If you get the option to go self catering do. Lots of better restaurants close by which are affordable. Like I said stunning hotel but the food lets it down massively. If you’re elderly or with limited mobility please note there are no lifts - the floor while beautiful marble is also slippy in the public areas. Reception can be hit and miss - I asked for an extra blanket on arrival and 3 days later I’m still waiting.

I have only rated Terezas as a 3* because the food was not a 4* , there wasn’t a great selection to choose from and most of it was covered in some different kinds of sauces to disguise the meat.None of the food was hot it was only Luke warm, there is nothing for children to eat as they very rarely put chips on and the only pasta that is available is dry, there is a sauce available but doesn’t look very appealing. There are very little deserts to choose from and the fruit that is available is cut into small slices, one which is apples that go brown very quick and the other 2 fruit is kiwi and tangerines cut up into small pieces. The breakfast is ok as they have cereal, pancakes,bread, etc so we could always find something for breakfast. So the holiday costed us so much more as we had to eat out every night apart from one night where they served Gyros as it was Greek night. I have been to 3* hotels where the food is a lot better and a lot more choice. We came as a group of 6 and unfortunately none of us liked the food of a evening and we are not fussy eaters, we also spoke to other people who stayed here and they also said the evening food wasn’t good. It is a shame as the hotel rooms and pool area etc are lovely as it’s recently been renovated.
