Came to Zante last year on a quick break after many years away but stayed in a big hotel. I am so glad we chose to go family friendly because this placed ticked the box and shows why we have so often done family friendly all over Greece before. The whole experience says we should have done ten days and we leave having met numerous people whom we have shared a good holiday with. Thank you to the family for being so helpful, respectful and busy at all times to make our time with you such fun. We will be back and will be bringing friends with us next time.

We’ve just come back from 7 days at this beautiful place, it’s about 20-30 min walk to Kalamaki main strip, but this was perfect for us, we just wanted a week away to relax. A beautiful family run place , all the staff were amazingly firnet and nothing was too much trouble! We had room 106 which was above the reception, lovely sized room, cleaned everyday day, towels changed as we needed. Just be aware that aircon in the room is 10 euros a day so if you’re going in height of summer budget that into your spending, well worth it, we didn’t have it for a couple of days but we’re really happy we got it for the rest of the week! The breakfast is fabulous, little quirky compared to anything we have experienced, it’s laid out in a lovely room with Welsh dressers and all laid out beautifully, you will find the orange slices and the boiled eggs in the open drawers. You couldn’t want for anything, all the usual English breakfast items, huge selection of breads and cakes every morning, lots of fruit and yogurt, including all the dried fruits and seeds you could ever want. Cold meats and cheese, lots of different jams and chocolate spread, honey and honeycomb too! The pool area was extremely clean with comfortable sun beds and parasols. The only negative with the pool was its depth 3 quarters of it was 180cm deep or more! Ideal for swimming though, didn’t cause us an issue. Children are more than welcome, but not sure it’s got much for them, there is a swing and a smaller pool but only a couple of under 4’s were in the hotel the week we were there. They do a couple of themed nights through the week, Italian night which I think was just pizza night, we didn’t go but others said the pizzas were lively. we went to the Greek night, the buffet food was amazing and at only 20 euros per person well worth it. The staff put so much effort into the evening, it’s very warm and friendly. We would definitely go back, but we would probably hire a car to get about easier and explore the island. Overall an amazing place, nothing to complain about. Don’t forget your jungle spray and do a big check before you sleep, we got quite a few bites on the first night but learnt early to keep doors shut and do check before sleeping and used spray every evening.

Got off to a good start, Rebecca was very welcoming and because of our anniversary upgraded our room to one with a internal jacuzzi and free A/C ( saving us £10 per day) sadly things went downhill from there. We were half board so committed to eating the in house menu which was fixed for the duration of our week stay. Not everything was to our taste so ended up repeating meals through the week.. breakfast food was adequate. There was two special nights a Greek night and an Italian night, Greek night was good with a good selection of food and traditional dancing by staff which was entertaining. The Italian night should have been called a pizza night as there was no pasta available which because of the limited regular menu choice we were looking forward to so we were very surprised at this, and compounded disappointed to see my pizza arrive burnt.
