Another visit the Palmyra did not disappoint, a well run hotel with spacious rooms with waterfall showers in the bathroom. Complimentary toiletries are nice bonus . Another visit the Palmyra did not disappoint, a well run hotel with spacious rooms with waterfall showers in the bathroom. Complimentary toiletries are nice bonus . The aircon is excellent and is a must . All the staff here are polite and very helpful , a special mention goes to the housekeeping staff who came in every day at our request, brilliant. Look forward to returning next year ❤️

“Almost excellent holiday”

Lovely hotel. Very clean, staff friendly and helpful with rooms cleaned every day with clean towels. Pool area is very attractive with plenty of sun beds available. Lovely hotel. Very clean, staff friendly and helpful with rooms cleaned every day with clean towels. Pool area is very attractive with plenty of sun beds available. We stayed for 8 nights bed and breakfast and enjoyed a varied choice of food every day. The beach area was poor, small with little sand but the sea was lovely. Argassi is a small but very lively resort with everything you need including many shops close to the hotel. Lots of amazing restaurants serving great food. We had scrching weather for 7 days until thunderstorms came in on our last night so badly the airport closed and no aircraft were allowed to land. Special thanks to Jet2 who arranged a hotel and transport for that night before getting us home the next day. Would not return mainly because of the poor beach but have no complaints on the service at the hotel and resort

Lovely clean hotel . Housekeeping is 100% the rooms were spotless. Air conditioning was excellent….but at 10 euros a night, I would expect it to be. City tax 5 euros a night, safe 35 euros. So having already paid £2300 for two for 10 nights the extra 185 euros is very steep. Pool area lovely and pl… more

Lovely clean hotel . Housekeeping is 100% the rooms were spotless. Air conditioning was excellent….but at 10 euros a night, I would expect it to be. City tax 5 euros a night, safe 35 euros. So having already paid £2300 for two for 10 nights the extra 185 euros is very steep. Pool area lovely and plenty of sunbeds. Pool warm. Location perfect. Now the down side. I contacted the hotel 10 weeks prior to our stay, to ask for a very quiet room on the upper floor. This was because I have real sleep problems if there is any noise, I did get an immediate reply to say they would try their best to accommodate us. On arrival we had been given the second room in the downstairs corridor where everyone walks past, suffice to say didn’t get one night of sleep. You can hear every bit of noise and awful noises from the rooms above. We booked a garden or Mountain View room and all we saw was a fruit tree, right outside. We had to have the lights on all the time and we couldn’t open the door or sit on the balcony because of wasps on the ripe fruit. Breakfast was really poor and very basic quality ….. fresh melon, tinned peaches and fruit salad in syrup. Value poor cereal , Greasy spoon cafe quality and luke warm. Very poor bread selection, lots of large bowls full of cheap sticky sweet jam and no marmalade, we went out and purchased a jar. Machine coffee and fruit juice which was like cheap squash. We ate melon and buttered toast for three mornings and then decided we were better going out to the local bakery. People were taking their own bananas, pastries and cartons of fruit juice into breakfast. Breakfast staff were not very happy in their work, maybe it was the wasted food that they were taking back to the kitchen . I wish guests would write reviews on these issues. It’s no good just talking with other guests and not returning. I have read lots of reviews where people say it’s good, but as a retired hospitality manager…..this is not. Lots of people think this is acceptable catering for your expensive annual holiday, but really it isn’t. I did try to take a video of the breakfast selection, but was stopped . So all I can add is our view from the room

As we were close to the main town we mostly ate out. My one complaint would be the breakfast. The food was never hot and often quite cold. The same items were served every day with very little variety. We stopped eating the cooked food as we were concerned it wasn’t hot enough
