Staff were all really helpful and pleasant and worked so hard The rooms were very fresh and contemporary and loved the wet room Breakfast was enough of everything to set you up for the day The evening menu was amazing and we enjoyed the associated bar/night club attached, esp the Karaoke and the beach bar area. Close to many other restaurants, bars, shops and seafront beach clubs

“A lovely hotel but not quite perfect”

We spent 11 nights here at the end of Sept/beginning of Oct. The room was clean, tidy and well appointed with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. We spent 11 nights here at the end of Sept/beginning of Oct. The room was clean, tidy and well appointed with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. It was private with neighbouring rooms not being able to see into our balcony which is often the case. The shower was very nice, with ample hot water. A small kettle was provided as well as a fridge but no tea or coffee sachets. The room was cleaned daily and towels and sheets changed regularly. Pool area was nice with a snack bar serving a variety of food. The beds were awful! So rock hard that I did not have a single good night's sleep the whole time we were there and spent a lot of the time actually in pain because the bed was so hard. We did not raise this with management because we figured that the beds would be all the same so we just suffered it. Breakfast we did not find very good to be honest. Being vegetarian and vegan there was very little we could have. I bought my own non dairy spread and took it in to have on my toast but that wasn't ideal with stone cold baked beans. I'm sure they must have tipped the beans cold into the food warmers because even if you went to breakfast bang on 8am, the beans were cold. The jam selections for toast were very sparse. Cereal selection was limited to cornflakes or bran flakes. All of the staff were absolutely delightful, very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay but the combination of the hard beds and poor breakfast would prevent us from returning

Visited in early October and the hotel and resort were pleasantly quiet, and got quieter as the week went on. We last visited Argassi 10 years ago and were surprised at how much it has changed. We had a ground floor room overlooking the pool. Due I expect to the changeable weather, mozzies were a real problem if we sat on our balcony or left our door open for some air. There are no net/privacy curtains, so curtains had to be closed when in the room for privacy, and nothing to stop the flies and mozzirs coming in. There's also nowhere to hang wet swimwear or damp towels/washing, and no drawers or shelves to put your clothes in. There's a small hanging rail in an open "wardrobe" with the safe on the shelf above a small fridge. There's a desk/dresser with one drawer, and only a tiny shelf next to the bed. The lack of storage space was difficult and we were only there for a week with minimal luggage. There's a kettle and cups in your room, but no tea/coffee etc, not even a bottle of water. No pool towels. The beds are very firm, with a shallow foam topper. Pillows great, one each, but we asked for and got more. We only did breakfast on one day, like others have said, it was mainly cold, although some were asking the kitchen staff to microwave it for them. The food in the pool bar looked and smelled great, but it was expensive compared to restaurants in the resort. The staff are fabulous though, couldn't fault any of them. Friendly, informative, and cheerful, a real asset.

“Room floors needs to be cleaned better”

Good hotel. Breakfast was ok, but not great. Cold pancakes daily. Why? Good Yoghurt, but only cornflakes to mix with. Why? Beautiful rooms, but extremely dirty floors. Good hotel. Breakfast was ok, but not great. Cold pancakes daily. Why? Good Yoghurt, but only cornflakes to mix with. Why? Beautiful rooms, but extremely dirty floors. They were already dirty when I came in and were not cleaned for the next 8 days. My travel mate experienced the same. Lots of water in the room, when I took a shower for ten minutes. I asked them to fix it, but it wasn't. I stayed in room 431. Don't go at that side of the hotel. You will not sleep because of the music or the noice from the streets.
