Hidden Garden apartments are top! Well located in a small village with a wonderful beach, they are perfect to visit the island from north to south. Very spacious, they have all the conforts you need even for a long stay (we've stayed two weeks with a 8months baby). Air-conditioning, mosquitoes net etc. The cleaning is just perfect and during our stay it's been done twice. But the best of the accomodation is certainly the hospitality and welcoming of George and his father Michael. We've arrived with a night flight at 3am and George was there to welcome us so that we could check in and let our baby sleep for the end of the night. He prepared a babycoat with a present for our baby, a babybath basin and brought us even a steam cooker to cook vegetables for her. Everything we needed for breakfast was there for us in the fridge for the next morning. A very appreciated kindness when you arrive at this time in the morning. George and his father have always been very responsive and helpful for us at every moment of the stay and even before our arrival for everything we needed. They gave us loads of information about Rhodes island , beaches, what to visit and where to eat. We would definitely stay there again if back in Rhodes! Thank you very much for your welcoming!

“Great holiday!!”

We had such a great time in Afandou, hidden garden was perfect size for us, two lovely balcony and a big shared garden where we had a barbecue twice. The village feels so authentic, beautiful! we will definitely come back!

Based on all the good reviews and the nice pictures of the appartments we chose this place for our summer vacation on Rhodes. And after our vacation is over now we can say that we don't regret it! The reviews we can only subscribe and would every time this appartment again when coming back to this island! According to our opinion, the general location between Rhodes and Lindos (roughly speaking) is very practical, with a rental car, one is very fast at many different beaches and excursion destinations. The city centre is within 15 minutes walking distance, but also in the immediate neighbourhood there are enough delicious restaurants, a small supermarket and a bakery. The apartment itself offers enough space, corresponds to the pictures and is exemplary clean! One notices that the whole family takes care of the complex. Everything you need is there (the small cool box was perfect for the beach days) and the host George is always available when you need him - he always has interesting stories and tips available. The access to the pool of the neighbouring hotel was also very pleasant and uncomplicated.

This apartment is just off the main coast road to Lindos, so good for those with a rental car. We were met there by the owner, George, who showed us round the apartment. It was clean, modern and well appointed. In addition, he had provided us some 'goodies' such as a bowl of fruit, some beer and bottles of water, cookies, pastries and sachets of coffee, tea, etc. There was even a coffee maker. The double bed was a double and not two singles pushed together as we had at our last apartment! The kitchen seemed well equipped for those wanting to attempt some culinary activity. There were 2 balconies which were small but sufficient. The garden is a grassy area, somewhat lacking in shade except for one corner where there are some chairs and a table. The owner's dad, Michael, is often around to offer any assistance, answer queries or to just have a chat! We walked into Afantou for dinner each evening and our favourite eatery was the Sky Line restaurant! If you are early enough, you get a table overlooking the town and beyond. The staff are friendly and welcoming with a good menu. Not so impressed with tavernas in the town centre, but there are a few along the main coast road worth visiting. The other good point is that you can reach the local supermarket just by walking down the garden which gets you through to the coast road right next to it! The nearest beach and golf course is across the main road and a 20 minute walk. It is a long beach, but at the point we joined it, it was mainly pebbly. The only shade is from a rented umbrella with loungers (E10 for the day)
