“Great place to stay!”

Really enjoyed our time at the Emerald Hotel. Had a v large 2 bed studio on the first floor. Staff here are really great. Cleaners came almost every day with new towels, bedding etc.. and were so friendly. Pool area kept v well also and always loads of sunloungers, no matter what time you arrive. J… more

Really enjoyed our time at the Emerald Hotel. Had a v large 2 bed studio on the first floor. Staff here are really great. Cleaners came almost every day with new towels, bedding etc.. and were so friendly. Pool area kept v well also and always loads of sunloungers, no matter what time you arrive. Just a small note, not much cooking facilities in the room (we ate out every night so not a big deal) and we had to pay double for air con because we had two bedrooms. But overall a really nice place that is great value for money

What truly makes Emerald Hotel stand out from other hotels is its absolutely wonderful and dedicated staff. You do not feel like just another guest here — you feel almost like part of the family. Maria at reception is always smiling, helpful, attentive and ready with good advice. When I developed severe pain in my ear, she helped us get in touch with an excellent doctor, for which we are extremely grateful. She remembered us from a previous stay and could even refer back to conversations we had had before. The care, interest and attention she puts into her work make her feel much more like a friend or a family member than simply a member of the hotel staff. George at the bar is equally fantastic. He also remembered us, and you can clearly see how much everyone around him appreciates his warmth, presence and attention. He has a special ability to make every guest feel welcome, noticed and valued. Maria, who works as a waitress, is a true star as well. She is sweet, helpful and always ready with a kind or funny remark. She is also happy to share personal stories, and it is exactly this kind of warmth and openness that makes you feel as though you are spending your holiday with family rather than staying at a hotel. And this feeling continues throughout the entire staff. You could not ask for a more committed, warm and dedicated team. Emerald Hotel stands out from the crowd because of the people who work there. They turn a good hotel into a truly special place — somewhere you want to return to again and again.

“Friendly, no frills relaxing hol.”

We enjoyed our stay. The staff are lovely and the hotel, pool area and rooms are kept very clean. Everyone works so hard and the service is great. I was a little disappointed with the rooms. Although clean and spacious, they were a bit outdated and the cooking facilities are very minimal…however w… more

We enjoyed our stay. The staff are lovely and the hotel, pool area and rooms are kept very clean. Everyone works so hard and the service is great. I was a little disappointed with the rooms. Although clean and spacious, they were a bit outdated and the cooking facilities are very minimal…however we really only used the rooms as a base to sleep. We had a late flight on our last day and were able to book a room to use for the day to shower etc and this was more modern so I think it depends where you are put. Lovely restaurants nearby. Beach very close with beautiful sunsets. Food at hotel was nice. 20-25 mins in a taxi to Rhodes town for approx 25 euros. Or buses from nearby too (we didn’t use them) If you are after a friendly, relaxed and no frills holiday, this is perfect.
