In the land of Greece, where the sun shines bright, We found a place that was pure delight. At the Olympic Palace, in ixia, Rhodes, We left behind all our huge heavy loads. A red carpet welcome, a smile at the door, We couldn’t have asked for a single thing more. The front desk team were sharp and fast, Making sure every problem was solved and surpassed. And Dimitris and Eya, with hearts so kind, The finest waiters you’ll ever find. They served with care and a gentle touch, We loved their service ever so much! The bar staff too, like masters of play, Dimitris and Pomas brightened our day. They treated us like royalty, each and every one, And were great with the kids, having so much fun. Every night was a feast of global cuisine, The tastiest dishes we’ve ever tried and seen. While Pamos played piano, a melody sweet, Making every after dinner a magical treat. The pools were sparkling, the towels brand new, Cleanliness everywhere, for me and for you. If you’re booking a trip, don’t be a fool, GO TO THIS PLACE that’s the absolute rule! “First time in Rhodes”

Just returned from a lovely week at this hotel. The week did not start well as after a long day travelling, there was no bed for my daughter in the room. Just returned from a lovely week at this hotel. The week did not start well as after a long day travelling, there was no bed for my daughter in the room. I rang down twice and no one came up so ended up making up a bed for her myself as it was 2.30am. That is my only criticism. Food was very good. Drinks options were very good. The standard of cocktails in the rooftop bar were excellent. We had an à la carte meal at La Tonda, the Italian, great food. The private beach is a nice touch, comfy beds. Very stony so you need shoes. I’d recommend going to Ixia Beach Bar just next door for food/refreshments. Family run by a wonderful couple. Great locations, lots of bars/shops/restaurants nearby. We walked to the Old Town which was a long walk but a nice coastal path, very scenic. Definitely worth it. Even though we visited in the height of summer, there were no sunbed wars! Excellent system, no reserving. Plenty of beds lefts at 10am when the pool opened. All in all an excellent week ❤️

So went to Olympic palace resort in August peak time with the hotel full to capacity Let me start by saying this is by no means what I would class as a 5 star hotel would move more towards a 3 star hotel Let me start with the positives the hotel staff are very friendly and very efficient, the location of the hotel is amazing there are numerous bars and restaurants on your doorstep ( el Greco is a must go after 8 pm and your be plate smashing and up dancing food is nice too and very reasonable) You are also only a 10 minute cab journey to Rhodes an the old town which is a beautiful town ( Rhonda is a popular bar on the beach in Rhodes is in a lovely setting but service is awful and your be surrounded by tik tockers an young girls not interested in the food just pics for there insta and it’s very overpriced ,mezzaluna is a stunning restaurant in the old town would strongly recommend) so back to the hotel , the sunbed situation is perfect the hotel has it nailed can’t put towels down before 10am u can sit on a lounger before then but if you move your towels will be removed no racing at first light to reserve towels they don’t allow it we had no problem getting a bed every morning so long as your down by pool around 9-30 The gym is ok the spa is amazing the rooms albeit a little dull an dated are fine spacious and cleaned regularly would recommend a sea/pool view if your on other side your literally looking at bushes an a wall Right so the negatives the FOOD were do I start really bad at a push breakfast was ok ( hashbrowns being the best I’ve had but bizarrely they dont serve these everyday choosing potato croquettes some days very weird and frustrating! ) Lunch - I’ve never been to a 5 star hotel were u cannot get a burger by the pool at lunchtime u can get one but you have to pay for it even if your all inclusive One particular day I went to the pool restaurant were the chef had a tray of cheeseburgers in buns wrapped in cleanfilm pre Cooked wen I asked if I could have one was told all inclusive guests can’t have one till 3-30pm it was currently 2pm absolutely crazy one you had to wait till 3-30pm well past lunch if you wanted a burger an two he was pre cooking them An hour an a half before serving So basically any decent food for lunch you wanted you have to pay for so wen it says all inclusive your not you get the leftover dregs Dinner was pretty awful I ended up having spaghetti bolognaise as there was very little choice suffice to say we ate out every night there after and even a few lunch trips my advice don’t go all inclusive if you like your food if you don’t mind slops then your be fine your better off bnb an eating out The drinks are also very bad , poor brands and the cocktails well they make them in about 10 secs from a carton there really not up to much To summarise the hotel is fine if your using it as a base to tour round the area and use the pool If your planning to stay in the hotel and not venture out much think your be disappointed
