“Perfect Holiday in Rhodes - Couldn’t Recommend More.”

My boyfriend and I stayed in Olympic Palace for a week in July 2025 (review is a little delayed) and had an amazing stay- the best hotel we’ve ever been to. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was perfect. Definitely lives up to its 5 stars. When we arrived, a lovely member of staff carried our suitcases up to our room. Our room initially had two single beds, but we mentioned it to reception and they immediately came up and changed it into a double bed for us. Our room was beautiful, cleaned every day. We had a pool and sea view and a huge balcony where you could watch the sunset from. The hotel never felt overcrowded not too many kids despite it being peak season, there were always sunbeds available throughout the day. The two main pools are both stunning, lively but never too busy with aqua fit in the morning and some activities in the afternoon such as water polo, and the swim-up bar was a great touch. The food was excellent. The selection and quality in the main buffet restaurant was fantastic every evening with plenty of choice. We especially loved the Gyros restaurant by the pool. The rooftop bar was another highlight- amazing for brunch and perfect for drinks in the evening with a great atmosphere and views and karoke some evenings. There is also an outdoor Italian restaurant at the hotel (an extra cost) where they had a live saxophone player one night. The hotel is spotless everywhere, and the staff were outstanding from start to finish – always friendly and happy to help. They arranged taxis for us whenever we needed one. There is a beach right in front of the hotel with free sunbeds if you are staying at the hotel, which was also great. Just make sure you bring your hotel towels as we got questioned. There is crazy golf at the front of the hotel, tennis courts and pool tables. The location is ideal as well only about 10 minutes into Rhodes Old Town which is beautiful to explore in the evenings. A few recommendations from our trip: .Ronda Beach Bar – great for a fun evening if you’re a young couple. .Faliraki Water Park – probably the best water park we’ve been to with loads of slides (20 min taxi drive away). I’d definitely recommend leaving before the park closes, as we ended up waiting over an hour in the taxi queue to get home. .Day trip to Symi Island- absolutely stunning, especially the stop at the crystal-clear blue bay. . Walk to Dream Cream cafe for incredible milkshakes and desserts (very Instagram-worthy!). Overall, Olympic Palace exceeded all our expectations and we will defintely be returning.

Our experience at this hotel was excellent from start to finish. The room was large and airy, with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and offering a beautiful sea view. The facilities throughout the hotel were impressive, and the staff were consistently attentive—nothing was ever too much trouble. The food options were varied at every meal, so there was always something new to try. The location was perfect as well, with plenty of bars, shops, and supermarkets just a short walk away. Travelling to the old town was simple, with regular buses that were quick and inexpensive. Evenings were enjoyable thanks to the rooftop bar entertainment, which changed nightly and created a great atmosphere. The private beach directly opposite the hotel was a real bonus—peaceful, clean, and absolutely picturesque. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future.

We stayed at this hotel in September 2025 The hotel was out of this world from extremely friendly staff to amazing food and drinks. We booked a Mountain View room which was in hindsight a mistake as although the room was clean fresh and comfortable the mountain was very close to our balcony which I knew that we had selected a Mountain View room we did however request a move to a Mountain View room that was a little further away from the actual mountain and the guest relocations manager( who was very approachable)within 24 hours gave us the choice to change rooms first one was actually bigger than the original room but we chose the second option of the room in the middle so that the mountain was a lot further away. The food was very good with multiple choices and always something that anyone could choose no matter what they would normally eat breakfast so much choice lunch and dinner excellent including the ala cart restaurants really excellent food and very good quality wine and drinks. You also have the option of eating lunch in one of the five other restaurants around the pool areas , lots of options for different types of food, Always a chef serving lamb salmon beef pork and fish each night something different every night always a good few choices of traditional Greek dishes cooked to perfection. Entertainment was excellent and the roof top bar area always popular champagne bar very good and in the evening watch the sun set from various locations in the hotel really nice to enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset, great choice of alcohol free cocktails as well as the alcohol ones , the pools are great and sometimes on a Tuesday morning there is a display of animated characters that walk around the pools engaging with the children. There is a good children’s pool and club with lots of various activities. The middle pool is heated and has swim up to the bar option. Pool times 10am until 6pm this seemed to be an issue with some people but I think it’s a good time to have the pools open and didn’t want to be in a swimming pool after 6pm . The crazy golf course is a must do activity one of the best we have come across. Small charge of 7 euros each which I think is reasonable. The hotel does provide water in your room every day and the rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day all of the staff are very friendly and can’t do enough to make sure you have a great holiday. In the evening at peak periods you will have to Que and be seated at a table by the door manager who in a regimental manner directs the guests to various locations in the restaurant making sure each area has the correct number of dinners so that the waiting staff can serve you drinks in a timely manner and constantly prepare new tables for the guests. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone so much so we have booked a fortnight at this hotel on the 30 of September and this time in a sea view room when the weather will be just how we like it not to hot .
