We had the best two weeks stay at Olympic Palace! Fantastic facilities, amazing themed meals every evening (we went half board), our room was relaxing and always kept well maintained. The poolside could get busy and noisy on certain days, but they always had fun activities to join in with if you wish. Majority of the staff we interacted with were very welcoming, friendly, and did what they could to make us comfortable. The hotel had shops and everything you need, including a games room, escape room, spa, and mini golf. We had access to a private beach allocated to holiday guests at this hotel and was just across the road from the hotel. The location had a few bars, shops and plenty of restaurants within close walking distance, you could also get a short taxi drive to the Rhodes Town and other close areas for more choice, we tended to walk there in around an hour which is lovely for those who enjoy walking and taking in the surroundings, the sea breeze also keeps you cool most of the way! Special shout out goes to the Vitho Spa at the hotel, you get 3 hours included during the stay, which we enjoyed on our last day and had a fantastic 55 minute deep tissue massage! Was the best way to end the vacation and the spa staff were beyond brilliant! Kristalla and Dimitra who provided our massage were exceptional and truly deserve special recognition for their work, super friendly and made us feel completely comfortable and relaxed! The lady at the spa reception was also first class! (Sadly we didn’t get her name)! We also VERY MUCH recommend the 30 minute Sunset Yoga on Thursday evenings that’s included, this is at the beach with stunning views! One more plus - Airport transfer is only around 30-45 minutes! Definitely consider Olympic Palace Resort when looking at booking your holiday to Rhodes, you won’t be disappointed! We will 100% be back when we visit again in the near future! This hotel is very impressive and architecturally fabulous! It’s a high 4* but not 5*. The food is excellent if you love meat and fish, hot offerings for vegetarians is a bit limited but the fresh salads are to die for. However, The table service lets it down. The staff clearly work hard but are managed by more senior staff who have too much to do. We once waited 40 mins for water/drinks with our meal. The room service is excellent. Such smiley and lovely people. Pool services are excellent including fresh pool towels every day. The maintenance team at the poolside are so good. The main reception bar staff need to be more attentive. They stand around chatting and don’t notice tables that need clearing or guests that need to order drinks. Overall, we would return to this hotel. The pools and Spa are so lovely and chilled out. We didn’t get too involved in the poolside entertainment as it’s not our thing but the team were very enthusiastic! Good effort everyone - thank you x

We stayed at the Olympic Palace Resort Hotel for 7 nights as a couple on a full board basis and had a really enjoyable holiday overall. We had booked a double room with a sea view, but on arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a family suite with a sea view. The room itself was perfectly fine, clean and comfortable, although I would not say it felt like much of an upgrade. There was nothing wrong with it, but it did not feel particularly special compared with what we had originally booked. The food in the main restaurant was okay. There was a different theme night each evening, although in reality a lot of the selections stayed fairly similar. After around four days we decided to eat out in the evenings instead. The restaurant service was also a little hit and miss at times, but nothing that caused us any major issue. We are not really “round the pool” people, but we did spend a couple of afternoons there. We had no problem getting sunbeds and the pool bar had plenty of choice. The hotel facilities were good, and one of the highlights for us was spending time in the rooftop bar watching the sunset. We also had a spa day in the hotel spa, which was another really enjoyable part of the stay. We also had a great time doing the “Green Mile” escape room in the hotel, which was a fun extra and something a bit different to do during the stay. All of the staff we dealt with were very friendly and happy to help, which made a real difference. Ixia itself is not what I would call a particularly lively resort, but Rhodes Town and Faliraki are very easy to get to by taxi. There are also some good restaurants and bars close to the hotel, so you are not stuck for options. Overall, we had no real complaints and would happily return. The rooftop bar, sunsets, spa, escape room and friendly staff were the standout parts of the hotel for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, lovely room (we had a suite). We enjoyed pool area & private beach, sun beds were fab by sea, a little tired by pool & not hugely comfortable. All clean & tidy. Only downside for us was the food in the main restaurant, breakfast was ok but disappointing on evenings - you won't starve as salads, fruit plentiful, hot food was poor though - in 5 nights didn’t have anything 'tasty'. Italian a la carte was lovely though, though could only officially go once in the week. Spa was lovely, enjoyed treatment.
