We loved absolutely everything about Sea Melody and spent a wonderful 2 weeks here. LOCATION Perfect! Right on the beach, supermarket on site or several more a few mins walk. Bars and restaurants as you walk out and to the left. Costa Mare across the road is an absolute must! The resort was peaceful but with enough life and choice. The beach is pebble which is perfect for us sand haters! Short ride from the airport too! STAFF Wonderful! A family run hotel who made us feel right at home! Couldn’t do enough for us. All staff we came across were so friendly, we felt very welcome and looked after. ROOM We were in room 347. Very very spacious, comfy beds, great shower, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space for 3 women and our many outfits! Air con was excellent and very needed during the heat wave. The kitchenette with fridge is a nice addition for light snacks and keeping drinks cold. CLEANLINESS 11/10 Everywhere was spotless! Bravo to the cleaning staff. Our room was cleaned every day, fresh towels every 2 days. We have never had such a clean apartment floor! We could walk barefoot everyday without getting things on our feet! FOOD We were B&B. We didn’t eat every morning as we aren’t really breakfast people. But when we did visit it was plentiful! Hot breakfast, different types of eggs, pastries, cakes. Donuts. Cereals, fruits, yoghurt, pancakes, meats, cheese, juices and hot drinks! All lovely. BAR/SNACKS Wonderful staff, thank you for the iced Carmel lattes. The menu had lots of choice, the service was prompt and friendly and the food very nice, and reasonably priced. POOL Very refreshing to not have to be up and out for 7am to get a Sunbed. No problems at all, we would be out for about 8.30am and always got a bed. I think the grassed area could be utilised better, as it did feel like we were very close to other people. It would be nice to have a little more space. It was also missing a little music in the afternoons for vibe! But that’s just our opinion. Would we visit again! Absolutely, already planning it! If the hotel is looking to enhance their already wonderful place, the area near reception ( unused bar area) or the space outside near the arcade would make an excellent gym! These areas seemed to be dead space and very unused. A gym would be an excellent addition and upgrade. Something to think about! Thank you Sea Melody, can’t wait To come back!

“Amazing hotel”

Me and my girlfriend visited this hotel for a week and it was perfect the staff was amazing with us the food was amazing the service was good the room was good everything about this place was amazing and we would definitely recommend this place

Booked a solo trip to Sea Melody: 20-26 Oct. Taxi is 10mins from airport. Hotel is family owned, 3 brothers. Friendly greeting at reception. I asked for high floor sea view Room. 312 was above reception overlooking the beach, stunning views. I think the room was premier double, open plan and very spacious. Air Con which was effective & quiet. Good level of modern decor & lighting, lots eu electric sockets. Large king-size bed, which was comfortable. 4 pillows (medium and soft) 2 large patio doors to the balcony, outdoor table and chairs and drying rack. Patio doors had blackout curtains. Bedroom had dressing mirror and seat area. Tv. Large double wardrobe, drawers. Sofa bed in lounge area, table, more storage and kitchenette with sink, fridge/freezer, kettle, cutlery, crockery. Table and 3 chairs in kitchen area. The kitchen was ok for making hot drinks (tea/coffee brought from home). Fridge kept drinks cold. There is a shop onsite which is reasonably priced. You could have cold snacks, salad or sandwiches etc in the room if bought food from supermarket. There is no cooker or microwave. Iron & board supplied. Bathroom was large, walk in shower. Toilet, sink, lots area around sink, large wall mirror. Plenty hot water, good shower. Bathroom towels supplied. Wall hairdryer wasn't effective. I would bring a travel hairdryer. Pool area had lots of sun loungers (bring yr own pool towel) I was there the last week of the season so very quiet and lots loungers to choose from. Some days I was on my own around the pool. Very peaceful. The pool area gets the sun all day. Pool water isn't heated, too cold for me but the sea was just outside and warm so I swam alot there. Take beach swim shoes as its pebbles with some sand. You can buy these in the shops €8-12. Pool bar offers various drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. Breakfast was delicious. Greek yoghurt, fruit, honey, cereals, fresh baked croissants and cakes, cheeses, cold meats, salad, bread, sausage, bacon, eggs, omelette, home made spinach/feta pie. Good coffee from the machine, fruit juices, water. I always found something good to eat and I'm gluten intolerant. I didnt ask for gluten free options. There are lots of restaurants and shops around the area. A road train can take you to Rhodes Town or a bus/taxi. I felt very safe and welcomed. I would highly recommend this diamond of a hotel. I would have given 5 stars in the pool was heated. I would definitely return, really good value for money. Thankyou for making my trip a good one.

We booked our stay here for 1 week with lastminute.com and when we arrived to the hotel in the evening, they could not locate our booking. Despite this, the hotel staff kindly gave us a room and agreed to sort it out the next day since it was late, which they did. We booked on half board basis, the breakfast is sufficient. But the dinner is really nice, always look forward to that. For dessert they have only 1 item each day, tasted ok but could do with bit more variety. There are a number of supermarkets and nice restaurants nearby. The hotel offers pick up to and from Rhodes Town, Butterfly valley and other landmark places at a reasonable price, just need to book and let them know at least the day before. Our apartment hotel (room 201) had so much space and had everything we needed and wanted. i.e. fridge, safe, balcony, kettle. Our room also had wifi, had great reception. All the staff there always have a friendly smile, really helpful and made us feel comfortable. Overall a really nice stay.
