“Poor lunches”

It was a lovely hotel. Adults only. Plenty of sun brollies and beds round the pools. Nice rooms. Good breakfasts. But the lunches at the poolside were dreadful to appalling. The lunches on room service, although very similar were much better cooked and presented.!

We stayed at the sentido royal port villas and spa for 9 nignts. We booked with jet 2 and were in a beach front bungalow with shared pool access including Royal Inclusive. The hotel is immaculate, although the hotel lobby and reception could do with an upgrade and doesn’t match the aesthetic of the rest of the hotel. The food is very good and of high standard, iced coffees and drinks are also very nice and no complaints. Our room was small, however nice. We only had 1 plug socket in the room. It was advertised that there was usb chargers in the room, however these didn’t work so was challenging to charge all of our devices, watches, iPads etc on 1 plug socket. Cibus and la pasteria restaurants were Gorgoeus: food was of high quality and really delicious. Our only issue with the hotel aside from the lack of plug sockets within the room was either the lack of training or knowledge from the staff in the differences between all inclusive and royal inclusive. On check in you are given your room key and told to download an app, on the app it gives you all the options available to you as a royal all inclusive. Each time you order anything, even a bottle of water the staff scan your room key onto thier handheld device. Every single time we went to order anything which was royal all inclusive, we were told there would be a charge, however on the app it stated it was included with no charge. We had to go through the same conversation each time when we ordered anything which became really frustrating and annoying. We felt like we were having to beg for items which we had already paid for. On check out, they take your room key and give you a temporary one to use the facilities until you depart. They disabled the app so we were unable to order anything through the app to the sun lounger, when we did try to order anything, even a coffee or water the staff were refusing to allow us anything stating we had checked out and needed to pay. Our flight wasn’t until 11pm and were being picked up at 7pm therefore we were advised by Jet 2 and hotel reception that we would have access to the royal all inclusive until departure. Again, we had to explain that we had checked out, however still had access to this and again became a case of begging for items which we had already paid for. Overall this lack of training or knowledge contributed to my 4 star review. If this improved, this would have ensured the luxury experience we should have had. Each time we ordered anything it became stressful in all honestly. Surely when they scan the card this would show what you had paid for? If the hotel could improve this, it would improve everyone’s overall experience.

Really nice Hotel, very silent. Rooms were absolutely Perfect, really silent and clean. Really nice Hotel, very silent. Rooms were absolutely Perfect, really silent and clean. Romeo is the best - hes the guy at the Beach fixing Your daybed - really has hard work and was always very friendly. Also keeping people that dont belong to the Hotel away. Nevertheless the greece law is very Family friendly. So if you Book adults only, there can be Familys Right next to you at the Beach. Some issues we had was the Time waiting for houseeking etc, when called for at the reception. For some issues the waiting time was over an hour, which was way more than the reception told us. All in all the Hotel was a Great experience, the Food was superior!
