Sun beach hotel bar is occupied by Wilson (the bar guy) he is great at his job, he so talkative, love’s to chat and find pleasure in knowing everyone and where there from busy or not! - Give him a drink if you are served by him after 10pm, he’s great!!

We arrived late in the evening, check in was quick and we were shown to our room by the lady on reception. As it was past 22:00 hours we’d missed last orders so we went for a wander and had a drink in Cocktails & Dreams just up the road! There was tolls, fruit and water waiting for us in the fridge which was welcoming. Room - sufficient for us for sure. The bed was comfy, it was nicely decorated and was adequate for our needs. The bathroom had a shower and toilet, the sink unit was in the room but that was ok! The shower run hot and cold depending on whether it was a time when everyone was using the shower but it was ok and we felt clean afterwards! There is no supply of toiletries but I like to take my own so I was fine! Towels were changed each day, the bedding wasn’t but then I don’t change my bedding daily at home either! The curtains were way too long but did the job, the balcony small but had a table and chairs and gave us fresh air so we didn’t mind! Food and drink - I did struggle as there were no gluten free options, however, I did not go hungry! It did feel a little bit like queuing for school dinners but there was always a selection, it was hot and there were different options served on the terrace as well, so something for everyone. Breakfast and lunch were the better meals for sure, the evenings were a bit different! Evenings did not cater for children either so I think people with children may struggle. There were only a couple of desserts each night, alongside ice creams and fresh fruit. Drinks were self service and were wine, beer and soft drinks with coffee etc and juice available in the mornings. There was a great selection of breads, cereals, cooked breakfast, hams and cheeses each morning. Pool area - this is small! However, a very large beach with ample beds and umbrellas is literally behind it! The pool was lovely, generous size, kept clean and tidy as was the area around it. There’s also a nice kiddy pool. A lifeguard was available every day and was always present. The bar was in close proximity to grab your refreshments with an on-site shop that was reasonable. You will need beach shoes as it’s pebbly and stony, however, the terrace area etc was kept very clean with ample seating with a lovely feel to it. Location - Lardos is small! There are some shops and restaurants and enough to keep you occupied, however, it’s just one road! We found everyone to be friendly. We hired a car so were ok but there appeared to be ample taxi’s and a bus service. As a couple on a chilled break we found it to be enough. Safe - we would recommend! Although we had no issues, it was reasonably priced. Entertainment - we had one evening of Greek dancing but they did have music playing during the evening on other nights. There was daytime games etc if you wanted to participate. Grounds - these were clearly being done up, you could see they were upgrading things and making the area better. However, it was clean, pretty and there was certainly effort going into it. During our stay they were putting up new signs etc so they are definitely working on it. We liked the setting of it and the garden areas with their ornaments. It’s also quiet, plenty of room and there was no feeling of being on top of each other. We went as a married couple on a half term break, we did 5 nights and enjoyed our stay. We went with an open mind after reading the reviews and in our opinion it ticked most boxes for what we wanted. The food could have been better and is probably the main thing that lets this establishment down. Would we return? Most probably for a short break again, although it would not be somewhere we would return for our main holiday. I wouldn’t recommend as a family holiday destination either and we feel it would be better as an adult only holiday due to the catering and location. If you read the negative reviews, go open minded and don’t expect 5star as that’s not what it is and does not pretend to be either. It’s clean, does the job and we have come home feeling refreshed and relaxed!

For a 3‑star hotel, Sun Beach Lindos was really good. It’s small but exceptionally clean, and the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We stayed in room 222, which was conveniently located near the path down to the sea, as well as close to the restaurant, bar and swimming pool. My husband and I spent our holiday here from 19 to 25 May 2026. We were given a family room; it wasn’t huge, but it was neat and tidy throughout. The furniture wasn’t brand new, yet it was functional and in normal condition. The only minor issue we had was with the hot water supply – for a few days there was none available in the mornings, though by late afternoon it had warmed up enough to have a comfortable shower. The problem was resolved fully after that, so it didn’t spoil our stay. Food-wise, the selection was modest, but that is exactly what you would expect from a 3‑star property. As the hotel became busier later in our visit, the range of dishes increased and there was plenty more choice each day. We particularly enjoyed the local beer and wine served at the hotel. The beach itself is lovely and well maintained. The sand is mixed with small pebbles, and all the outdoor furniture and sun loungers are new and comfortable. There is a great choice of watersports right on the beach too. We hired a motorboat for a full day and also tried the jet skis; prices were very reasonable and great value for money. Overall, we really liked Sun Beach Lindos and would happily recommend it.
