Excellent hotel in a perfect position to explore the old town and surrounding area. Food good and room clean. Staff polite and helpful at all times. The staff in the restaurant worked their socks off, clearing tables and keeping the food re filled. The only downside was lack of wardrobe space, one rail in a cupboard with a fridge underneath which meant that dresses got scrunched up, but hey we managed! Bathroom was spotless with one of the most powerful showers I’ve experienced in a hotel,, oh and nice toiletries too! Ask at reception for a map or go on google maps and explore old town, the ancient Olympic stadium , the acropolis, the list goes on. All within walking distance. Walk down to the harbour where you can book trips to Lindos, Symi or hop across to Turkey and visit Marmaris. One of the nicest holidays and sad to be back

I have stayed here a few times now, because the hotel is really clean and near the old town, the food as improved since the first time i stayed here, the staff are lovely, and they now have entertainment at dinner, nice touch. The hotel is vey small and compacked, but spotless, they have made a lot of changes here for the better may i say, but drinks are what you expect from an all inclusive which is weak. Unless you buy the premium drinks, all inc stops at 10.30, the bar closes at 12 midnight. The coffee in the room is bloody awfull. Change your brand castellum. And do yourselves a favour.

“Hotel was OK, but good location.”

Hotel was ok. First room was awful, we were disturbed all night by partying people. However, to give the Hotel it's due it moved us to a quieter, and slightly better room. Which was much quieter. Restaurant was just ok. Breakfast was fine, but other meals weren't great. We ended eating out for most lunches and dinners. Staff seemed bored, and showed little interest in guests. No attempt to make conversation or even acknowledge when they were spoken to most of the time. 'Cocktail bar' was a corner of the restaurant consisting of only 5 tables. The cocktails were ok, but not brilliant. The older barman was far from friendly, and decidedly awkward. The younger man and blonde lady were definitely more pleasant. Room service staff appeared to think cleaning the room was optional. One day they didn't come in at all. 3 days our toilet bin wasn't emptied, not ideal when you putting toilet paper in there!. On another 2 occasions bed sheets were left on end of bed so we had to make our own beds. The day before we left rooms were serviced correctly,not sure if different staff, or they were hoping for a tip! On our final day they walked into our room 3 times without knocking, clearly trying to get us to leave. Checkout was 11am, and we actually left by 1045 so this was really rude. Hotel could have been worse, and it was central for old town and Acropolypse, but could definitely be better.
