“Nice hotel with great staff and good food”

Just stayed at this hotel during the school holidays. I picked it due to it being close to a beach, close to the airport, not far from Rhodes town and with good reviews. Thought the hotel was the perfect size. Kids got to know other kids, didn't feel too overwhelmed and got to know their way around the hotel. With the Kids club, although it seemed like it wasn't stacked with toys and activities, it seemed to work very well and the kids kept wanting to go every day (the staff working in the kids club were excellent). The pool areas were great with lively pool at one end of the hotel and a quieter non-windy pool near the main reception area, both had bars nearby. The bar situation in the evening was good as there was only one which meant there was a good atmosphere with lots of people. The bar staff in the evening were very quick to serve people and made cocktails that were high quality, quick and not out of a packet. I thought the food was excellent and just about varied enough for 7 days and was better than most of the 4 star all inclusives I've been to. Kids liked the pasta and chicken nuggets (they don't always like them). The nearby beach didn't have a bar on it (not sure what happened) and a bit of litter about. One end of the beach is sand and the other end are pebbles. The pebbly end was great for snorkelling, with lots of fish to see and the water being very clear. Pool was just about warm enough. We rented a car for a day at the hotel and that was very easy without too much fuss or looking for scratches. Negatives; there are always some. The nearby road for restuarants if you don't fancy the hotel food has quite a few restaurants and a couple of shops but it is a busy road and not the prettiest. Bathroom was a bit small. People wearing vests for dinner (bit of a snobby comment but hotel could gently dissuade people from doing this).

We have just come back from a week all inclusive staying at this hotel and overall it was a lovely holiday with a few notes of caution We stayed in a standard room which was clean and nice. The cleaner was so friendly and helpful The staff were all very nice and the hotel was very well maintained. The food was really nice and we always felt full and happy. The puddings were amazing. There is an ATM machine out the front and shop next door which was very handy. The shop sold everything you needed. Some Notes to be aware of The pools don't open until 10am just in case you have early risers wanting to go in the pool early. When we arrived the tax was €70 each room for the week so that is an upfront cost some may need to be aware of. We then had to pay €10 each for beach towels although we did get this back at the end, cash was also required when paying for the towels. When we arrived we had 3 bottles of water in the fridge and tea and coffee etc however these were never topped up and the hotel did not provide extra bottled water so we ended up spending extra at the shop to top up on water and coffee/tea etc. This was something I would have thought we would get included within the all inclusive package. We did spend more money than expected which was fine but definitely not all inclusive in some areas. Also limited drinks on all inclusive which was fine for us but some people might struggle with the limited options.. The kids had a blast and overall We had a really enjoyable week :-) we will definitely remember it as a happy enjoyable holiday with some lovely memories

Just home from a wonderful 12 days hols with 12 family members. The cleaners are excellent and work so hard. Waiting staff are also very good.. Rooms are nice and the location is convenient to the beaches and Rhodes town. The entertainment team have lots to offer throughout the day and evening. Leonie is just perfect for this, always smiling, helpful and full of energy. Her enthusiasm is contagious. The curly haired guy is also excellent. The restaurant/bar manager Teo is so friendly and helpful too. He makes sure holidaymakers are relaxed and having fun. There is always a good choice of food. A friendly clean and happy place. Only downside is one of reception staff who was not very helpful. Otherwise I would give 5 stars!

I don’t like to criticise the hospitality industry as energy, staff and food costs make it a difficult industry to be in at present. But this really is the bare minimum being offered on so many levels. Food is below average and that’s generous - unless you like liver, meatballs, burgers , duck (5 ways ), over cooked fish & vegetables. No such luxury as freshly cooked fish at the grill here. After 3 days of trying to find something to eat , we gave up decided to eat out each night . Some lovely nearby fish restaurants. The “between meal” snacks consist of chips, pizza or kebab. No frills. The main restaurant was out of olive oil for the 3 days we were there, the bar ran out of white wine, the hot food is often running out. Our room smelt of damp and we had a view of a storage depot area. Some of the premium rooms looked great but the standard rooms are a bit of a lottery. It really is a 3 star experience in our opinion but maybe you get what you pay for. On the positive side , the staff were very friendly and helpful on the whole. Sadly, they are let down by management policy to keep costs under very tight control. The building is well laid out too, but it overall it just feels there is a very tight financial squeeze on day to day costs - like food, drink and maintenance.
