We stayed as a family with a 3 month old. We were either daft or crazy (both). Our main aim when booking Electra was to find a resort that was low maintenance, clean and fresh. This is exactly what we got. The hotel has been recently renovated, the pool area was pristine, everywhere was clean and just like the latest photos show. Pool/beach - lots of beds (these get snapped up), the pools are huge size, good depth but very cold - this may be due to them being recently filled at the start of season. Pool bar had friendly service but could be slow during busy times. The staff at the pool bar do a great job to have banter and make drinks as fast as they can. The Beach takes some getting used to, I'd advise water shoes/sandals as the pebbles walking into the water aren't for the faint hearted. The sea was quite choppy some days but the water is so beautiful once you are in. You can see Turkey so clearly from the beach it will make you feel like you could just swim across. It is a windy part of the island so you will see wind surfers making it look really easy. Rooms - we stayed in a sea view room. Tidy, fresh and clean. Bed was really comfy. All three of us crashed on the bed for two hours when we arrived with the balcony door open cooling us with the sea breeze. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels and made beds. We had a poonami situation one morning and they changed our sheets no issue. 43" Samsung TV in the room with a nice touch where you can cast netflix, this didn't work after the first day for some reason but didn't bother us much as we were either tired or getting ready to head out. Food, glorious food - Italian a la carte restaurant was included for one night per stay, nice food, much quieter ambience and attentive service. Didn't try the greek restaurant. The Beach Restaurant where you have the buffet for breakfast lunch a dinner had lots of options, they changed each day and had something for everybody. Service was really good here and they always accommodated us with a little baby and got us a table in the quieter area of the hall so she can continue napping in the pram. All in all, Electra Palace for 5 nights was perfect for us as a family of three. Nice little getaway. We weren't expecting it to blow us away or be the holiday of a lifetime but it was genuinely perfect for what we were looking for. Would absolutely recommend.

On hols Here again ,been coming since getting engaged in 97 , just arrived 7th may what a fabulous suprise 😍 the new updates are out of this world 😍new style restaurant with beautiful hand served foods to choose. .Luxury everywhere you look cabanas to bath on choice of pools . luxury bus service from the door the list is endless staff all polite and so helpful too . Please book if you live and appreciate the finer things daughter here in September were back next year for our 25th anniversary 💕 Carol warriner ♥️

“Mixed review.”

We arrived at the Electra palace, check in was smooth and the receptionist was friendly and informative. Our room was bright and spotless however it lacked storage space ( missing shelf from the wardrobe) we did say to reception and it was fixed the following day, not what you’d expect from a 5 * hotel. Our bed was comfortable with a mixture of pillows available, we had clean towels every day and pool towels were available in the room. The hotel is spotless, this includes round the pool and pool toilets. The pool area is fantastic, sunbeds are plentiful. The standard of food was very good, definitely something for everyone available. Niggles The hotel charge 80 euros to keep your room for a late checkout, at no point were we advised there is a courtesy room available for 20 minutes. There was also an issue for Jet2 guests where all inclusive ceased at 12pm on departure day, after a few complaints through the rep, the time was extended to 7pm. It was very difficult to get a soft drink in a large glass at the pool bar, When I asked why the lady asked “do you want it or not” it makes no sense Angelena and the older gentleman were both very good, There was a lady with a hoodie on who stood behind the bar everyday with her phone in her hand, regardless of how busy it is, she doesn’t help the bar staff. The manager can be seen walking round the hotel, but doesn’t acknowledge you in any way, this rubs off on some of the staff too! In our view the hotel is not 5* but a decent 4*

Ok. So we stayed for 9 nights. We arrived after midnight. After a long day it was a relief. We were greeted by Joe on reception. A lovely man. Greeted us with a lovely smile and gave us all the information we needed. Now this is a 5 star hotel, after staying in a really bad 4 star last year, we were really shocked at no small food bag made up for late arrivals. Last year we got this as I said from a really bad 4 star. Went to our room which was great on the 5th floor facing the pool. On opening the wardrobe door it fell off. Theses doors are quite heavy and had been put on with the smallest of screws. Not a problem Joe got it fixed the next day. We went down to the bar and had a drink. Local beer was really nice and was well needed. We stayed in room 1529 and the cleaner was fab. Rooms cleaned daily fresh towels and bedding absolutely great service and great beds. First couple of days you get used to the hotel and what it has to offer. Not a lot for 5 star. Good points were. Great staff on reception, restaurants and most of the time bar staff depending who was on. Pool bar after 2 days run out of pina coladas. Never to return. The coke was awful all you could taste was syrup. I could not understand why they have 1 member of staff on the pool bar that just takes your room number and nothing else with people waiting to be served. The pool area and surroundings are great. No fighting for sunbeds there are plenty along with ample comfortable seating by the pool bar. At the font of the hotel beach side again plenty of sunbeds and seating. Lifeguards on duty both beach and pool. In the restaurant food was good and plentiful. You are taken to a table when you arrive. At breakfast you get your own drinks from the machine provide. Lunch time you need to get the waiters attention and they will get your drinks if they are not rushed off their feet. Evening is a totally different game. It’s really busy with at times upto 10/20 people queuing it’s seems to be so not organised and you definitely don’t get great service as they are short staffed. At night they only put 1 bar staff on each of the 2 bars. Which 1 of them close at 9pm. Be prepare to wait, if they are making cocktails it takes time. They run out of glasses and you get whatever glass is available. Small tumbles fir beer make sure you get 2 or you will be queuing again. Plastic glasses also used indoors at night. It’s not the staffs fault it’s down to poor management. Ice cream parlour was great lots of variety and bottles of water available. Pastry snack bar ok if you want something light but not great variety at times. Worst part of the hotel is the music around the pool it’s shocking. Please make your own minds up but lots of people complaining. It’s was like being in Ibiza but really depressing music mixed with an Ibiza vibe beat. Only time it was good was when the DJ went for his lunch and it was far too loud which spoils your day round the pool. On our last day we booked a time for a room to get showered and changed before our flights. You are allocated 40 minutes. We were late getting the room due to others taking longer than the allocated times. We were then told we had 20 minutes. Sorry but not our fault. Shocking service 5 years ago we stayed in the Ixian grand suites. It was a 4 star plus and a lot better service. Electra Palace is at best a 4 star but the service is very minimal for a 5 star. They are charging at a premium rate but there are better hotels in the area. Sorry we won’t be returning.
