⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We booked Mövenpick Resort Agios Nikolaos Sivota on a whim after spotting the private pool rooms, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. We booked four different room types for our family of 14: the Two-Bedroom Suite, the One-Bedroom Suite, a Double Room and a Private Pool Room. Every room had its own charm, but the Private Pool Room was absolutely spectacular. We were fortunate to have the corner room, which felt incredibly private, and the pool itself was much larger than we expected. It was beautifully maintained throughout our stay and became our favourite place to relax. Travelling as a group of 14 can be challenging, but every single member of staff was warm, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and everyone dealt with our large group with patience, professionalism and grace. What stood out most was the exceptional customer service. We had a small hiccup with one of our rooms on arrival, but Emanouela, the Front of House Manager, dealt with the situation immediately. She was calm, understanding and incredibly efficient, resolving everything quickly and making us feel valued as guests. It really set the tone for the rest of our stay. The resort itself is immaculate, peaceful and beautifully designed. Everything you need is within easy reach, yet it still feels wonderfully secluded and private – the perfect balance. If there was one suggestion for improvement, it would be to expand the menu for vegetarians and children. A few more family-friendly options such as pizza and French fries would make dining even better. Overall, this was an incredible stay. Beautiful rooms, exceptional service, a wonderfully maintained private pool and a team that genuinely cares about its guests. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sivota.

Another memorable stay at Mövenpick Agios Nikolaos Sivota. Although most of the staff were new to the team this year the same high standards of service were in evidence from the front desk staff, the waiting staff, the guys at the Skipper’s Bar, the lifeguards, the cleaning team & the grounds maintenance guys (apologies if I left anyone out). Everyone went the extra mile to ensure we had a fantastic stay, thank you all so much. It always feels like we are coming home each time we stay. Just one item of feedback this time - the minibar. The policy is that the minibar is stocked on arrival, the use of these items is complimentary & any additional items thereafter are chargeable. This is a perfectly acceptable (& indeed welcome) policy however when we stayed in June 25 the minibar was stocked with 2 small bottles of wine, 2 bottles of fruit juice & 2 cokes. By our return visit in September 25, the wine had disappeared (with the excuse when I queried it that it was because it was a family hotel). This year the offering was derisory, consisting of only 3 items -1 coke & 2 bottles of fruit juice. When I queried the paltry selection at the desk my mild complaint was met only with repeated statements that these items were free to me (the inference being I should be happy I got anything at all). In fact that point is arguable in that the pricing structure no doubt incorporates these ‘free’ items. I would suggest that Movenpick review this minibar policy. It would honestly be better not to provide any initial complimentary items rather than the current miserly provision. Rather than being a nice start to the holiday it left us feeling somewhat short-changed. That aside we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & look forward to our next visit.

“Loved the tranquil feeling and scenery”

We had read some of the previous reviews before our trip and were a bit skeptical. Did we see a couple of ants? Yes. Did we experience a lack in service? Only once or twice and it never affected our stay. More people were welcoming than opposite. Did we see any snakes? No – only a few small lizards, which were completely harmless and never bothered us. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with cold drinks at check-in, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. Our room had a magnificent view, and waking up to it every morning was a highlight. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices, and one of the chefs even remembered how I liked my omelette before I ordered it – a small but very appreciated personal touch. The beach always had plenty of available sunbeds, and we especially loved the floating pier where we could completely unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful sea. The resort itself is beautiful, filled with lush tropical plants, colourful flowers, and breathtaking views wherever you look. For us, this was a wonderful stay. With just a few small improvements, it could easily be a five-star experience: a bit more variety and quality in the food, a little more attention to detail when it comes to cleaning (such as wiping sticky tables), and a slight improvement in service consistency. None of these were major issues, and they certainly didn’t outweigh all the positives. We would happily return.
