We came back this year after a great experience in June 2014, and had another wonderful 2.5 week vacation in this lovely hotel!! This time I was with two small kids (5 yrs old and 20 months old) and my parents, and now that we're back at home, we are still singing the theme song and thinking of our fun days on the beach! Most of the guests are Italian, families or older couples, although there were a few foreigners this year. It really is an ideal place for families with young kids. The team of entertainers is just superb!!! The girls taking care of the mini-club for kids were wonderful, sweet and energetic and I don't know how they managed to keep so many kids entertained and happy all at once! They organise special activities such as building kites (with parents) & a kite competition but our favourite part was a once-a-week kids show, where the kids who want to participate prepare skits and perform them on stage for all the guests to see. Cuteness, fun times and lots of laughs for everyone! If you're there with small kids, you won't ever be bored. Of course activities are organised for adults as well, such as funny games, sports tournaments, salsa lessons and daily pilates and aqua gym lessons with a great and fun instructor who really takes his job seriously. Everyone is so nice, from the bartenders to the waiters and receptionists. The hotel is not huge so you get to know the other guests quickly and everyone says hi to each other, it's easy to make friends, especially for kids! The amosphere is very pleasant, you feel like part of a big Italian family! And although the entertainers organise many activities every day, if they see that you're not keen on participating (I was running after the kids most of the time),they do leave you alone so you don't feel pressure to do anything that you don't want to do. The only inconveniences are that the internet and phone don't work everywhere (but maybe that's good if you're on vacation!!) and to go down to the beach you either have to take a long flight of stairs or get a ride on a van provided by the hotel which only runs from 9-10am, 12-13hrs in the morning and then 4-5pm and 6-7pm in the evening. If you don't come by car, you can't really go anywhere outside the hotel (you'd have to take a taxi or a car provided by the hotel or participate in an organised tour of nearby towns). For us, with the heat and small kids, the place to be was on the beach so we didn't go anywhere this time. The food is absolutely delicious! Although if you're not Italian, you may miss eggs and bacon for breakfast. For us, a mixed Italian-Russian-American family, the food was just fine! A great experience overall, lots of fun memories - we will definitely be back!

We really liked our family holiday. The village is surrounded by green (considering the dry area it is quite incredible) and well cleaned and organized. The beach with red sand and the clear sea with a mixture of sand and rocks full of coloured fishes is just beautiful. For those who cannot swim and for kids, there is nice options. The village is located in a natural park out of modern features (you cannot expect here good internet connection) and you need a car to reach it. We drove from Napoli (5.5 hours in a south italian driving area where rules are an option and where lots of people not used to drive go on curvy sunny roads 😱). It is a place for Italians and you must see it with this eyes. They can be loud and talking around you at meals, but this is Italy and fun for this. I really enjoyed the large family from Avellino close to us. Of course I speak Italian...😎 Food is autentic and local, light or heavy it's your choice. There is a lot of choices, including kids' not always easy taste😊the cook is just wonderful, always smiling as well as the staff working at the restaurant. There is an italian style animation, with options my son enjoyed (12 year), especially thanks to the sensibility of Antonella, who organized kids activities. She is amazing, very special. In general, the animation is friendly and flexible. You can find your peace if you want. Even at the beach, it is not difficult to go out of music reach if you cam swim😉 The only things I would have liked differently is the beach bar opening a bit longer, especially in the evening (6pm Is a bit early), an earlier swimming pool morning opening (early opening allows swimming for parents before kids wake up). As for meals, morning breakfast should include eggs and some more choices of ham or salami, as well as fruit. As I saw some commemts, If you dislike morning breakfast coffe or cappucino (machine suitable for multiple serving is not always ideal) you can go to the bar. They have good coffee and very decent prices. I enjoyed my 3 pm espresso served with a smile by very friendly bar staff. I will be back again, both for the location and the courtesy of the staff. Just one consideration: I am an Italian with German routes and live in Switzerland, so my judgement has to be considered as such. Cheers, Adele
