“Perfect location, average hotel”
First you need to know when visiting Tropea is that town is on the hill overlooking the beach, so you are either close to beach or to town and there is no way you could have it both. We think it is better to be suited near beach, where you are taking more stuff, and to go to town for walk or dinn… more

“Good hotel close to the beaches”
The check in was easy, we could park our rental car there, and the room was good. It was about a 15 min walk to the town centre, up some stairs, but it was close enough, and close to the beaches. “Out of main town”
We stayed here because it had secure car parking. The old town was apparently in walking distance and accessible via steep stairs but we didn't have time to go. The beaches were also in walking distance, including the free beach. The room was very large and clean, although the bathroom was small.… more
