My wife and I reluctantly returned home from this wonderful hotel yesterday. We had a superior sea view room (126) which was maintained to a high standard by the housekeeper who is a lovely, cheerful lady. When I commented that I found the mattress very firm she immediately put a mattress topper on the bed. We found all aspects of the hotel excellent, the food and service in the restaurant and bar was first class. All staff were very professional and pleasant which led to a lovely atmosphere within the hotel. My wife had 2 massages which she thoroughly enjoyed all topped of by the most amazing views. We also got to meet the lovely Matilda who made us very welcome. We had such a great time that we have booked to return in May 2027 today.

Our family of four enjoyed five relaxing nights at Hotel Grazia Alla Scannella in late May/early June. The temperatures during this time were ideal. We arrived with flexible plans after the intense sightseeing portion of our Italian vacation in Rome and Naples, and although we originally planned to visit locations around Ischia using the provided shuttle, once we arrived, we decided to prioritize sleep, eating well, and utilizing the included spa and aromatherapy garden. And that’s exactly what we did! We started our mornings with the absolute best breakfast ever! It’s served between 7:00 AM-10:00 AM. Our favorites at the buffet included: fresh honeycomb, many varieties of delicious pastries, bacon and scrambled eggs (thank you from these Americans!), fruit, yogurt, a variety of cereals, and fresh salads. And there’s so much more! You can choose to eat healthy or indulge! I had a wonderful cappuccino each morning. My husband had cafe Americano con latte and espresso and he loved it! After breakfast, we started our spa routine: swimming in the indoor heated pool, sitting in the Turkish bath for as long as we could stand it (this is what we miss the most!), using the Kneipp path, soaking in the outdoor hot tub under the lemon trees, and stretching out and napping in the aromatherapy garden, surrounded by birdsong, honey bees, and the smell of lavender, fennel, rosemary, sage, basil, and many more! Yes, you could really smell all these things with every breeze! Lunch was at the pool starting at 1:00 PM: fresh salads, bruschetta, pastas, grilled and fried seafood, fresh bread, and many cocktails and wines to choose from! This was preceded or followed by a swim in the large outdoor pool, which has a convenient grotto feature in case you don’t want too much mid day sun. There are so many loungers and tables to choose from. It’s never crowded. Our rooms were comfortable with stunning views. BREATHTAKING! I cannot emphasize the views enough. Booking a room with a balcony/sea view is worth every penny. There are always sailboats and cruise liners to gaze at in the distance. And just watching the seagulls and the goats on the cliffs is enough entertainment for the whole afternoon. The AC in the rooms work great, the mattresses are firm but comfortable, and the provided toiletries are very nice! The linens and towels are high quality. We slept very well. Aperitivo here is a special time with live music and the most beautiful sunset on the planet. At 8:00 PM, if you booked half board (and you definitely should!), you head to the dining room for a huge spread of delicious appetizers including grilled veggies, salads, pizza, cold cuts, cheeses, bruschetta, etc. Dinner has three additional courses with multiple choices in each one to include seafood, meat, and vegetarian options. Don’t miss the risotto of the day! The desserts are amazing. Every night, there are also lots of flavors of gelato or sorbet to choose from. Each family or couple sits at the same table each night. The staff is exceptional and no request is too much. They are very professional and attentive. Our favorite server was Francesco! After dinner, the live music continues and there are many opportunities to mingle with others. All this to say, it’s MAGICAL and I hope we’ll have the opportunity to return someday!

Arrived mid afternoon to a warm welcome. Full instructions and help offered. Room 110, small and no real view, but absolutely fine for our needs. Hotel very clean, exceptional staff. We selected breakfast only, which comprised of pastries, cereals and hot options. Didn't eat evening meals, as menu didn't start until 20.00hrs, which is too late for us, but other guest reports were very positive. Shuttle bus into Forio is regular, but has a gap on returns from town between 19.30 and 23.30, making a early evening return after eating awkward. Spa and spa gardens very relaxing. Pool area clean and quiet, with no piped music (joy!). Open, all day bus ticket available at reception (5.50euro), catch the shuttle into Forio and explore the island. Early pick up (6am) for return home, breakfast was available. Booked through TUI, no issues with organisation. This hotel, staff and feel are worth a trip.

What an experience this hotel is. I can honestly say I’ve had the most amazing time here and it’s gone far too quick. The staff are amazing, kind, welcoming and generous. I have never been treated like I have at this hotel. I’m leaving feeling like a celebrity following the treatment I have received here. A very luxurious hotel. The food is excellent quality with generous portions. The restaurant staff really are the heart of it all. I enjoyed every single meal and the service from each of the staff. But a special shout out to Stani. The personal service he provided was next level. I am a female solo traveller and he really looked after me and made my trip special. Giuseppe came to my table on my final evening to say goodbye as I was leaving early next morning and offered me breakfast, although I was leaving 2.5 hours before usual breakfast time. I can say with 100% certainty that I will be back to this hotel. The rooms are tidied daily including the bed being made and there is also a turndown service whilst you eat your evening meal. The views from the rooms are absolutely phenomenal. I highly suggest a sea front room, the way the sun shines off the sea is stunning. 10/10 experience.
