We booked on Monday, flew out on Friday, and spent seven wonderful nights at Paradiso Terme Resort & Spa. As soon as I made the booking, I emailed the hotel with several questions about excursions, car hire, and nearby tennis courts. The response was prompt and reassuring, with the hotel confirming they could assist with everything we needed. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from the reception team and were delighted to discover that we had been upgraded to a Paradiso Exclusive Room (Room 302). After checking us in, a member of staff personally escorted us to our room. We were amazed by how spacious it was, and the views from both the windows and balcony were absolutely stunning. We're not usually the type to spend much time relaxing at the hotel, but due to my partner suffering a knee injury shortly before our trip, we found ourselves enjoying a couple of slower days at the resort while it healed. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The hotel's beautiful, tranquil grounds were the perfect place to unwind, and there was never any difficulty finding a sunbed around the lovely pools. There were also plenty of umbrellas for shade, which was particularly appreciated as I need to avoid prolonged sun exposure following skin cancer treatment. The staff, along with the hotel owner Giuseppe, could not have been more helpful. They went above and beyond to arrange excursions, organise shuttle services into town, reserve tables for dinner, provide local bus tickets, and advise us on the best routes and services to use. The hotel itself is immaculate, with stunning views, spacious grounds, and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. It truly feels like a retreat away from the hustle and bustle, and relaxing in the thermal pools was pure heaven. Both breakfast and dinner were served on the terrace, where the breathtaking views made every meal feel special. During our stay, we took a day trip to Positano and Amalfi, which was well worth doing to experience these famous destinations. However, we were both very happy to return to the more authentic and relaxed atmosphere of Ischia afterwards. We also hired a boat for the day from West Coast at Forio Harbour, which was fantastic and highly recommended. At approximately €200 including fuel, it was excellent value and a wonderful way to explore the island from the water. Another highlight was our day trip to Naples. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would happily return for a longer stay, as we barely scratched the surface of everything the city has to offer. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings with exceptional service, I wholeheartedly recommend Paradiso Terme Resort & Spa. We completely fell in love with Ischia and would return to this hotel in a heartbeat. We're already missing those unforgettable sunsets, watched from the comfort of our bed in Room 302. A heartfelt thank you to Giuseppe and his wonderful team for making our trip so special.

“The most relaxing, wonderful time at Hotel Paradiso Terme.”

We had the most wonderful relaxing holiday at Paradiso Terme. It is in an idyllic position with beautiful views above the town of Forio. The staff are absolutely wonderful and can't do enough for you, they did in fact make our stay memorable. If we could, we would have extended our stay for a month to soak up the atmosphere. There are so many exciting things to visit on the island itself and boat trips to Capri, Sorrento and many more places. The main take away from our stay, was we felt totally relaxed after our time at Paradiso Terme.

We stayed here and returned yesterday.The hotel is a little isolated however the hotel provides a complimentary bus service to the Port of Forio and the two nearest beaches.The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are so kind and helpful.Trips can be booked from the hotel reception desk and you can also buy bus tickets for the local public bus service at the hotel .The bus stops at the end of the short walk to the hotel.They run approximately every 20 minutes and we used them with the guidance and information from the hotel staff quite easily.There is a spa at the hotel but I cannot comment as we did not use this facility. The food I would say is fine but I am not like other trip advisors going to say it is the best food I have had.I found it to be ok but I have to admit I felt the choice at breakfast was limited .We did however have a buffet evening meal with different dishes a BBQ style dinner and also an Ischia themed night all of which were good .Although on the downside if the dish had gone very often it was not replaced.It was a bit like first come first served.once it's gone that's it. The rooms were very spacious we had one with a sea view and watched the sunset in the evening which was lovely.We also had a balcony equipped with table and two chairs. The one downside I had was that we seemed whilst we were there to have dogs barking at all hours of the night which was extremely annoying and so we had to have the doors shut to try and keep out the noise.There is air conditioning but the unit is noisy so as it was hot whilst we were there the room could become hot .There are also quite a few cockrall s around so be prepared for a few unasked for natural early morning calls.

This is undoubtedly a lovely hotel set in a beautiful peaceful location. However, its location makes it expensive and difficult if you want to get around. For example, the town of Forio, which has a harbour and lots of restaurants, bars and shops is perfect for an evening out. However, as the hotel want its guests to stay around the hotel, eating in their restaurant and drinking at the bar, the last shuttle bus they provide leaves for Forio at 6.45pm? and the last returning shuttle to the hotel is around 7.45pm. This means if you dare to venture out to the charismatic town for dinner etc. you have to make your own way back by taxi, costing around 25 euros each time. You can of course hire a car, but the hotel will charge you 10 euros per day to park at the hotel, hence no cars on the car park. The hotel also charges 10 euros for tea and coffee, you are supplied with two sachets of tea and coffee on arrival, then it is chargeable, unusual for a 4 star hotel. On arrival, the room we were shown was disappointing, small room with tiny terrace which was very overgrown with vegetation. The lady who was showing us the room stated that there was a different room she could show us. This happened to be across the hallway and was slightly bigger, but also with an overgrown terrace area. It was meant to be a sea view room but the sea is a distance away. She did not tell us immediately that this room would cost 120 euros more? Even though the hotel was not by any means full, although the owner said it was, we were charged for this room as the previous one was too small with too much vegetation, although the owner did offer to have the gardener prune it somewhat. All in all this is a lovely hotel, albeit a little out of the way. The hotel owners obviously want a captive audience and discourage guests from leaving the hotel. The dining room is soulless and the food mediocre at best.
