The hotel is situated in a stunning location framed with views of the glorious blue sea and mountains. It has relaxing thermal pools to move between, it never feels too busy and there are always beds available by the pools. What really makes this place special is the relaxing atmosphere and amazing staff team. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable, nothing is too much trouble and they are always willing to go the extra mile with recommendations and help. The restaurant is amazing - probably the best food I have ever had half board. A free shuttle bus is provided and there is a bus stop located at the end of the road to make travelling around the island easy. It is a genuine paradise, a real gem which is tucked away and I am already looking forward to coming back as I have booked again for next year.

We stayed here and returned yesterday.The hotel is a little isolated however the hotel provides a complimentary bus service to the Port of Forio and the two nearest beaches.The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are so kind and helpful.Trips can be booked from the hotel reception desk and you can also buy bus tickets for the local public bus service at the hotel .The bus stops at the end of the short walk to the hotel.They run approximately every 20 minutes and we used them with the guidance and information from the hotel staff quite easily.There is a spa at the hotel but I cannot comment as we did not use this facility. The food I would say is fine but I am not like other trip advisors going to say it is the best food I have had.I found it to be ok but I have to admit I felt the choice at breakfast was limited .We did however have a buffet evening meal with different dishes a BBQ style dinner and also an Ischia themed night all of which were good .Although on the downside if the dish had gone very often it was not replaced.It was a bit like first come first served.once it's gone that's it. The rooms were very spacious we had one with a sea view and watched the sunset in the evening which was lovely.We also had a balcony equipped with table and two chairs. The one downside I had was that we seemed whilst we were there to have dogs barking at all hours of the night which was extremely annoying and so we had to have the doors shut to try and keep out the noise.There is air conditioning but the unit is noisy so as it was hot whilst we were there the room could become hot .There are also quite a few cockrall s around so be prepared for a few unasked for natural early morning calls.

The hotel is located in a peaceful area with wonderful views. We chose a room in the garden area at an additional cost. In hindsight, we would have been better in the main building. The climb up from our room to the main area where meals are served was very steep and on a public road with no footpath. We were pleased we booked half board as there was nowhere close to eat. The food was excellent with plenty of choice. We enjoyed the antipasti, which was buffet style. This was followed by 2 courses served at our table, then a buffet for dessert. The dining room was very nice with plenty of tables for 2, set with white table linen. The local wine was excellent and reasonably priced. We enjoyed pre dinner cocktails on the sunset terrace which were 14 euros each. It was a lovely place to watch the sunset but spoiled for us with guests allowed to smoke there. The information leaflet we were given said smoking wasn't allowed in rooms or on the terrace. We were unable to sit on the patio outside our room because our neighbour was smoking cigarettes and cigars. If you are a smoker this probably won't bother you but we found it very unpleasant. I mentioned it at reception and was told smoking is allowed everywhere on the premises apart from inside rooms, so I am not sure which terrace the leaflet referred to as being non-smoking. This is the reason I have given a rating of 4 rather than 5. Everything else was excellent. The thermal pools were fabulous, we used them every day. The shuttle bus provided by the hotel was very useful to go to the beach or into Forio, and there is a bus stop at the end of the lane for the public bus service to other places on the island. There was no evening entertainment in the hotel apart from some local musicians who played once during dinner. To sum up, if you are looking for a quiet holiday with good food, beautiful gardens and very helpful staff you will enjoy as long as you don't mind smokers

This hotel is truly a hidden gem, nestled between breathtaking mountain views on one side and the sea on the other. The large complex is set in beautiful botanical gardens, is immaculately clean, and the staff from reception to servers and chefs are consistently helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Sunsets here are stunning. The food was delicious, although as expected with à la carte dining, portions were on the smaller side and prices higher. A shuttle bus is available due to the remote location, but the main centre, with its port, shops, and restaurants, is just 10 minutes away. Be aware that a taxi back can cost between €20–30. Despite its many positives, I’m giving this hotel a 3-star rating due to a few issues: 1: My travel adapter didn’t fit any of the room sockets, they seemed unusually small. I reported it to reception, and even they were somewhat surprised and confused by the fit. Unfortunately, nothing could be done. 2: The shower was very slippery. A non-slip mat is definitely needed before someone has an accident. It would also be more practical to provide liquid antibacterial hand soap instead of the small wrapped bars, which most guests don’t use. 3: On departure day, our pick-up was at 6am. While some guests received an early breakfast, others (like myself) were not offered. Overall, a beautiful stay with some thoughtful improvements needed to match the high standards elsewhere.
