Surprisingly nice hotel among 3star category providing above average service - swimming pool, cosy rooms with sea view, tasty splendid breakfast and delicious dinner of local cuisine and home-made italian wine. Management is very polite and obliging, ready to fulfill almost any reasonable request. Staff speaks italian, english and german. Hotel provides free transfer to Citara beach and Poseidon thermal garden with spa procedures. Highly recommend this place.

Its a good family hotel with neat and clean rooms with either sea view or garden and montains view. Most of the rooms have balconies with private sitting areas. Cleaning was daily. Towels and bed sheet are clean. This hotel has its own swimming pool water in which was warm even in the mid October. … more

Its a good family hotel with neat and clean rooms with either sea view or garden and montains view. Most of the rooms have balconies with private sitting areas. Cleaning was daily. Towels and bed sheet are clean. This hotel has its own swimming pool water in which was warm even in the mid October. As i was told in August on the terrace they arrange dancing. Hotel provides transfer to/from Citara beach. Poseidon thermal park is 10-15 min walk. The short-cut to the beach is down to the main road, cross it, turn left and after seeing Oasis board go via that hotel down the steps towards the beach. Hotel can be reached from Forio port by bus Line 1 or CS, tickets are sold on board by the driver - 1.5 or 2 euro correspondingly. As for hotel's staff - i should mention the Chef - cuisine is amazing there, really very tasty and different from evening to evening. Waiter Lorenzo is very joyful and alone serves all guests quite fast, always smiling and explaning dishes. Hotel manager Marco is beyond expectations for this 3 star hotel as his professional qualities, politness, decent and at the same time helpful attitude to people make him honor. He speaks English very well and will guide you no doubt in any way so dont worry of being somehow helpless without Italian. The territory of the hotel is a real garden. Its very peaceful there, birds are singing, no noise at all. I highly recommend it as its really good from quality/price point of view. The only drawback of this hotel is it high location with steep road towards it - it can be a problem for elder people and surely disabled people eventhough you can use transfer amenity.

“Good hotel in Ischia”

Hotel Villa Cimmentorosso is a nice clean hotel, close to Forio on Ischia. It is quiet, the rooms are simple but very clean. The team are also very nice. Hotel Villa Cimmentorosso is a nice clean hotel, close to Forio on Ischia. It is quiet, the rooms are simple but very clean. The team are also very nice. The hotel has a lovely pool that overlooks the bay. The breakfasts were really good, eggs, cold meat, cheese, fruit, yoghurt plus all the pastries you expect in Italy. They have a shuttle to the beach. The shuttle only leaves mid morning so not for the early risers. Important to note that the hotel is a few minutes walk up a steep hill, not fun with bags but OK once you settled in. They dropped me a the bus stop when I left so I did not have to negotiate that hill again with luggage! Thanks to everyone for a good stay.

This is a very quiet hotel set amongst the owners grape vines, which were laden with huge bunches of red and white grapes of which the host gave us a fresh bunch for our room, they were delicious.. Our superior room looked over the bay which was lovely to see each morning.. Breakfast was an abundance of food, continental style, you wouldn't leave hungry for sure. Rooms and entire hotel was spotless, quite old fashioned but very adequate.. Owners and staff very, very friendly.. On the downside shower gel was in cheap sachets and hardly enough to wash ones legs and also these were not replenished in great quantities.. Huge wardrobe but little space to lay items of clothing in draws or on shelves. Couldn't get even a coffee after 11pm. One night the owner turned the lights out whilst I was in the reception area checking phone messages....strange. Be very aware that this hotel was up a very, very, steep hill, I kid you not, probably a 1 in 2... Very challenging after some local vino. On the whole our 5 night stay was very enjoyable, oh and there's a lovely pool overlooking the steep hill and the bay..
