The concierge team reached out ahead of our arrival with a warm, personal welcome and asked whether there was anything they could arrange for us. Not a generic form email — a genuine, thoughtful gesture that immediately told us this place was different. They offered restaurant suggestions, and when I mentioned a place I'd written off as impossible to get into, they got us in. That alone set the tone. Arriving at the hotel itself was nothing short of spectacular. Perfectly positioned, immaculately presented, and every bit as beautiful as the photos suggest, if not more so. But what truly elevates Covo dei Saraceni above anywhere else we've stayed is the people. From the moment we walked through the door, the team made us feel like we were the only guests that mattered. We were given a warm, personal tour of the property and introduced to the team by name. It felt like being welcomed into someone's home. Our room was stunning. Spotlessly clean, beautifully comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed in every detail. Over four extraordinary days, we were looked after to the highest possible standard — and I want to give a very specific shout-out to the people who made it so memorable. Lisa at guest services was exceptional, super attentive, warm, and always one step ahead. And Augusto and Cirillo by the pool were simply outstanding. Not a single moment passed without them checking in, ensuring we had everything we needed, and doing it all with genuine warmth and smiles. They didn't do it because it was their job; they did it because they genuinely cared. The little touches, a glass of Prosecco at just the right moment, a friendly check-in, a quiet word to make sure everything was perfect. These are the things that transform a holiday into something you'll talk about for years.
