I was getting nervous after reading some really bad reviews. This is a good hotel. We stayed 3 nights and while the room was a tad worn, it was clean, comfortable and had a great view. The staff was highly accommodating. There are several restaurants directly below which do require a walk up and down very steep stairs. Close to the ferry dock for excursions to other towns on the Amalfi Coast. The TV didn’t work and the Wi-Fi was weak. But we were hardly ever in the room. There was a wedding celebration every night, but the noise ended by 10/20:00. There are many wonderful shops for ceramics in the town.

I'll start with the good stuff—the view from the balcony is amazing! You can sit there for two hours, drinking prosecco and enjoying the sunset and sunrise! The bedding in the room was clean, and overall it was clean. My advice is to get a room with a balcony, it's simply the best thing you can see. Now for what I didn't like: - I didn't like the staff. When we checked in, they said that they would keep our passports until the end of our stay, along with the car keys. This is something you should never do, as these are your documents and your rental car. We argued about this for a long time. - There seems to be parking, but there are never any spaces. I barely managed to fit my rented FIAT 500 in. The road is very steep, and I was constantly worried that someone would hit it. There is nowhere else to park the car. - You have to walk to the sea, but it's not far overall. - The beach in the photo is paid, with sun loungers and umbrellas. You can pretend to be a seagull a couple of times, and the menacing security guard with the cash register won't notice you. - The bathrooms are terribly outdated and dirty. - The pool is dirty; it's better not to go there. - I also want to mention the events that take place there every day; they are noisy and disruptive. I stayed there for a couple of days and would not stay longer. Overall, a solid 3 out of 5 stars. But there is room for improvement.

The sea view from the room was the best thing in this hotel. Interior of rooms is quite old, with visible depreciation, furniture broken here and there, no hangers in our closet. Breakfast offer - satisfactory. Reception staff and other managing employees - polite and helpful. Except cleaning service people - uneducated and very rude, did not understand basic questions or requests, like "Please, give us clean towels". They did not speak English, that would be ok, but they did not understand even clear and simple Italian language. The most unpleasant thing was - cleaning service youngsters very rudely cursed us in Slavic, after they did not understand what we were asking (towels), and we understood it, to their regret. After a complaint in the reception, there was no "We are so sorry" action from Hotel's staff, as it would be normally in other hotels, if there would be similar situation. In this hotel - nothing at all. No iron available for guests in whole hotel, they offered us to go to iron our clothes somewhere in the city. Ridiculous. The surroundings of hotel are clean, green and looked after. If you don't catch a taxi or have a car, it is challenging to get to Hotel on foot - you have to walk on a narrow and busy road or walk through the Vietri sul Mare. Hotel did not respond to our e-mail, when we were asking for directions, how to get to the Hotel from local Train station. There is room for growth in the service for sure.
