This hotel was something special from the incredibly friendly staff to the beautiful views this was an amazing experience and will definitely come back again and the manager pino was so kind and helpful and all of the staff

“Sunsets galore”

Staff were superb, room clean, views amazing, and the food was generally excellent. Breakfast especially good, and dinners delicious. The shuttle bus into Sorrento was helpful, but quickly gets booked, so we worked out the local bus system and felt empowered to be independent. Thank you Pino, Salvatore Restaurant Manager, for looking after us and the housekeeping team for refreshing our room each day.

“Hotel tired but has all the facilities.”

Great location if you want a beach as there a VERY few hotels in Sorrento on a beach, however this means you have to be prepared to travel into Sorrento. Great location if you want a beach as there a VERY few hotels in Sorrento on a beach, however this means you have to be prepared to travel into Sorrento. The hotel offer a shuttle bus service 4 times a day all free except the late last shuttle back at 10.45pm which is only €2. We used the service but felt restricted at times as we had to return on their timescale so we opted to use the local bus service again this was a cheap service at €2 each way. We wanted to avoid taxis as we were quoted €40-50 each way. Its bus number 8 and the stop is a 3 min walk away out of hotel through the tunnel. We had booked b&b and the breakfast had lots of options hot and cold. We only had evening meal once on our first night as we wanted to be out and about. Evening meal not cheap and wasn’t our best meal. We did feel restricted being here as you can’t just nip out to go for a walk into a town for a drink and a potter as the local town is Meta and there’s nothing really to do or see however we adapted and just used the bus service though it meant once out we stayed out so we didn’t have the opportunity to come back to get dressed up for evening. We could have, but this would have meant cutting our day trips shorter to get back and then get another bus back out so wasn’t worth it. The hotel has a pool, I saw only 2 people (kids) use it because it was so cold, to be fare we were there at Easter hols so it is their low season - we got very lucky with the weather as it didn’t rain at all for us so did manage 1 day by the beach. Beach is pebbles, small and dark sand and the pool area did have lots of comfy sunbeds available. I’d recommend walk up beach for 5 mins to the sandy area and there’s a lovely bar there with a play area for kids. Staff very friendly and welcoming - always smiling and helpful. There is a kettle in the room with tea/coffee - we did have to ask one of the cleaners for it and they took it out of another room to give to us. Watch the kettle handle as the steam came through ours and burned us (room 514) so we needed to use a towel to pour. Mainly due to the age of the kettle - it was old like everything at this hotel. Main downside is this hotel is VERY tired. All the metal shows rust inside and out, the inside is clean but looks like years of wear and tear. Lampshades old and show years of use. Our room had been painted at some point but splashes of paint are all over the curtains, curtains old and stiff to pull along the track. However, I defo recommend you book a sea view room as the position of the hotel means you see the awesome sunset go down every night from your own balcony. If I went back to Sorrento I’d stay in the centre so I’m closer to everything. Hotel ok for the money we paid.
