This has to be one of the best hotels ever! The decor and atmosphere are just mesmerising and it’s in a beautiful quiet location, about ten minutes walk to the Piazza. Ermelinda on reception is so helpful , all the staff were lovely and professional . Restaurant has outstanding food, and the Maitre Di who made us the most superb crepe Suzette excelled. , The pool area is just so beautiful and the garden area, beautiful wisteria and orange jasmin set a relaxing scene overlooking the sea. You can eat lunch at there or just bar food from your lounger. The room was magnificent, a deluxe Sea view Junior Suite complete with whirlpool bath, and shower, and room turned down every night with fresh linen. I thoroughly recommend this hotel, don’t hesitate to book. Thank you Sue and Victor

Perched majestically on the rugged cliffside, the hotel offers a vantage point that feels almost surreal. The location is perfect - it’s a short, pleasant walk to the bustling Piazza Tasso (the heart of Sorrento), yet it feels like a private sanctuary tucked away from the tourist crowds. The Gold Standard of Service: Ermelinda While the views are breathtaking, it is the people who make this hotel feel like home. A special mention must go to Ermelinda at the concierge desk. She is a true miracle worker! Navigating tours to Pompeii, wineries, cooking classes, or boat charters can be overwhelming, but Ermelinda handled everything with effortless grace. Her local knowledge is endless; she didn't just "book tours," she curated experiences. Every recommendation she made—from the timing of our departures to the specific guides she selected—was flawless. Her warmth and dedication made us feel like VIPs.

Amazing Hotel, brilliant staff, superb food. The whole 4 days were outstanding, restaurant food was awesome and the staff were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel even put a bottle of champagne in our friends room as it was his birthday. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean, and anything we asked for was sorted quickly. The night it was raining they were giving out umbrellas to everyone going out. All the staff are so friendly and sociable I would go back again as soon as we get the opportunity, it was so relaxing, and an enjoyable experience..

The first apartment the host put us in had no shower door , it was waiting to be replaced! Yet they still thought it was ok to put tourists in!! We complained and initially were told there was no other aartment but luckily we bumped into the property manager who intervened on our behalf and we were moved to an apartment next door which was all good. We found a great cafe close by for breakfast but there was a bit of a walk to the downtown area. So many tourists! Sorrento was charming with great food. A car is not needed to get around. We booked a trip in a minivan down th Amalfi Coast and that was memorable with stops at Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. I only wish we had more time at each town but as it was, the trip took a day. The road is narrow and meeting a bus coming the other way around a corner was an experience! The local drivers were excellent and could pass with only inches between vehicles.
