Just returned from another fantastic holiday in this hotel, have been 4 times to this place. The team are really friendly and service is great. Food delicious and rooms are very comfortable. A very relaxed small hotel with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We will return again perhaps later this year.… more

“Perfect Hotel”

Beautiful hotel in a great location. A short distance from the train station, then only 5 minutes on the train to Sorrento. There are plenty amenities nearby. Beautiful hotel in a great location. A short distance from the train station, then only 5 minutes on the train to Sorrento. There are plenty amenities nearby. Our room was lovely & modern with a relaxing terrace. All of the staff were very kind and welcoming. Always lots of loungers available at the pool so we never struggled to find somewhere to sit, and the pool is gorgeous with lemon trees surrounding. The food was unfortunately not to our taste. We had pizza one night which was delicious then chose to eat out the remainder of the week. There were plenty vegetarian dishes - I don’t consider myself to be picky but even i struggled with the options. The breakfast was very nice! This did not take away from our experience of the hotel at all, as it was so gorgeous and relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay.

“Nice welcoming hotel, but...............”

First drop off from the airport with a delayed Jet2 afternoon flight to Naples. Accomodation was half board and as it was late the hotel saved some cold meats and cheese for us. We were offered bottled water and was VERY suprised and angry to be charged 4€, which we had to sign for and it goes straight on your bill. Got "upgraded" to the annexe which they call the "Villa", seperate to the Hotel and ok, apart from the traffic noise (scooters and bikes making a racket), had to sleep with the aircon on to drown the noise out. The walls are also very thin and the door didn't close properly, so sound proofing was poor, and you can hear all sorts going on! Breakfast was boring, with some unidentifiable stuff and lots of cakes from previous nights, which nobody touched. Nice choice of coffees from a menu that are included, and served by the lovely staff. I was happy enough with the rest on offer, but it could be better by offering less and concentrating on the quality. Bizzarely bottled water is free for brekafast - typical Italian way of doing things. If you expect an all inclusive dining experience, don't. We enjoyed the food it was varied in the evenings, but strangely not much pasta, and Pizza only once. Good choice of fish meals and happliy no chips with anything, it felt authetic Italian and not typical tourist food. Drinks are expensive in the hotel, 6€ for a large beer with your meal, or at the pool bar, and a bottle of wine for 30-40€, bit of a joke when the supermarket 5 mins away & sells for a fraction of the price which you can enjoy on your noisy balcony. The grounds are lovely with the flowers, lemon groves and nice pool area (although the pool was freezing) even just outside on the main road it has beautiful roses and flowers along the central reservation. Good base for exploring, with Saint Agnello station a handy 5 mins away, but a good 40 minute walk into Sorrento itself, we got a bit bored with the walk after long days out exploring from Sorrento. But found the bus and train a bit unpredictable at times (rail strikes, overcrowding etc) and its quite a nice walk by the coast, the other route on the main road not so much. I reccommend this hotel for older clientile, although they have to negotiate quite a few steps from the road to reception. We our in our late 50's and it was fine, but would in hindsight of forgone the pool and stayed in Sorrento itself near the station and ferries.

Room was basic and (as others have said) dated in style but it was kept spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. Daily cleaning service superb. Room was basic and (as others have said) dated in style but it was kept spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. Daily cleaning service superb. There are not many electric sockets/not conveniently placed so not easy if you need to charge multiple devices. The safety deposit box was v small - would not be large enough for an iPad or laptop so bear that in mind if you bring anything more than a kindle sized tablet. No hot water one evening/following morning but that was fixed very quickly and the bathroom had a powerful, refreshing shower. The staff on reception and in the lounge bar are really friendly and accommodating. Pool area is pleasant. Location - around 1.8 miles from Sorrento centre. It is very walkable but beware that a local taxi to/from Sorrento will cost 25 euros. Close to train station at Sant Agnello What really lets this hotel down is the restaurant and food. Others have commented on the sweet breakfast. I appreciate that breakfast is often sweet in Italy and I don’t mind that. There is just way too much choice - multiple cakes/pastries/doughnuts and random items that I didn’t see anyone eat. I visited out of high season and I dread to think how much food went to waste, unless it was given away. Half board dinner options - again too many and some unappealing options - it felt like the restaurant was trying to be higher end but failing. Buffet salad items/veg looked tired and as if they’d been around before ( perhaps recycled from breakfast?) Pasta first course is safest option. Note - you are allowed to have as much bottled mineral water as you like at breakfast but no free mineral water is available in the evening. You must pay for a bottle in the restaurant. The bar will offer free tap water if you like. On my first evening I was served by a female waiter who was accommodating and friendly. Male waiters in the restaurant were less friendly. I avoided eating in the hotel for my last few days.
