We loved everything about our stay in Sorrento! The hotel was very friendly and accommodating for our group of 10! From the pool bar to the hotel bar (Lorenzo was so helpful!) we felt taken care of! Location is great; 12-15 minute walk to town. Highly recommend!

Hotel Central Wellness was a wonderful place to stay! Although we didn't have time to use the gym or spa, we wish we had. The spa prices were very reasonable, and we definitely would have booked massages if our itinerary hadn't already been packed. If we had encountered a rainy day, this would have been our first stop. When we checked in, we were greeted with a very thoughtful honeymoon surprise. Our room was decorated with honeymoon pillows, and the hotel left us cake, a bottle of prosecco, and a handwritten note. It was such a warm welcome and made us feel truly celebrated. The room itself was on the smaller side, but it was perfect for the two of us. The bed was a bit stiff but comfortable enough for us, the air conditioning worked well (and was easy to adjust), and the shower had excellent water pressure with plenty of hot water. The pool was absolutely amazing and a lifesaver during the hot days we spent in Sorrento. I will say - there were children so if this is a dealbreaker for you then I wouldn’t book here. The front desk staff were really helpful. They were available 24/7, always friendly, and happily helped us call taxis whenever we needed one. They also allowed us to borrow beach towels for the day when we did a boat tour. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Piazza Tasso and the heart of Sorrento. It's an enjoyable walk for most people, but if you have mobility concerns or struggle with long walks or cobblestone streets, you may prefer taking a taxi. The hotel is also conveniently located near both the train station and ferry port, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. We did day trips to both Capri and Positano. One thing we really appreciated was the hotel's location. It's right next door to an excellent pizza restaurant, directly across the street from a laundromat (which is incredibly convenient if you're on a longer trip), and surrounded by small shops where you can easily pick up cases of water, snacks, drinks, and other essentials without having to walk into the city center. If you're arriving by ferry, I highly recommend taking a taxi to the hotel. The walk from the port involves A LOT of stairs, which would feel impossible with a lot of luggage. The walk from the train station is much easier(~10 minutes) but if you're traveling with large suitcases, a taxi is still worth considering. One of my favorite parts of our stay was the BREAKFAST! After spending more than a week in Italy, I was relieved to find a breakfast with plenty of savory options. If you're like me and don't enjoy sweets first thing in the morning, you'll appreciate the selection of eggs, beans, sausage, bacon, quiche, potatoes, yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries, juices, and more. We ended up eating breakfast at the hotel every morning because it was so good. Overall, we were incredibly happy with our stay at Hotel Central Wellness. The thoughtful hospitality, convenient location, excellent amenities, and delicious breakfast made it a place we would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Sorrento.

“Noise levels”

spoilt by noisy teens, the pool isn't big enough for ball games !!!
