The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings which the staff work hard to keep looking good. It is very close to the square but there is minimal road noise. The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings which the staff work hard to keep looking good. It is very close to the square but there is minimal road noise. Although there isn't tea making in the rooms this wasn't a problem. Breakfast has a good variety including full English. rooms are spotless and are checked daily.The pool area is kept clean. The icing on the cake is the staff all are friendly and helpful. The only downside we had to go home but would recommend.

Hotel Eden is a centrally located family run hotel. The back exit takes you straight onto Corsa Italia with Piazza Tasso within a minute's walk. Exit via the front entrance and turn left - 5 minutes' walk to Piazza Tasso and right - five minutes' walk to a park surrounded by cafes and restaurants. The hotel is a lovely traditional building set in its own gardens. Our room on the third floor had a view over the garden with the sea and Versuvius in the distance. A small balcony with afternoon sun was nice. The room was compact but clean and modern in style, well appointed with updated electrics and furnishings. The sockets took Italian three pin L adapter plugs. Plenty of plug outlets, a desk and chair, cold fridge and large wardrobe with a safe. The bathroom had a small walk in shower and places to put toiletries. The communal areas are pleasant and traditional in style. Breakfast had pastries, cheeses and meats, cereal and yoghurts, plus scrambled egg, bacon and hot dog sausages, plus bread for toast, however, as we are usually late arriving to breakfast (which is from 7 am to 10 am) arriving after 9 am most days, the tables were not reset, and most items had run out, with replenishment not always guaranteed. We didn't use the pool area, so I can't comment. Mosquito spray purchased from the local supermarket is advised, for use day and night, especially if sitting around the garden area.even so we still had a few bites. The staff are very helpful and friendly and they have a lovely family cat! Thank you Hotel Eden

The hotel is generally clean & tidy with friendly staff. The room was spacious & it looked as though it had been recently refurbished. Bed was comfy & the air conditioning worked well. Note: There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We took a travel kettle but there are only two electrical sockets in the room. There is a good shower & towels were changed every other day. Breakfast was OK with options of hot or cold food. The pool area is nice enough for a relax or a quick dip but beware the sun lounger! If you put too much weight on the head end it collapses flat, this happened to four people whilst we were around the pool including myself & I trapped my finger. There is a ‘secret door’ which you have to find out about for yourself. If you come out of the hotel & turn left, go past the bar & take the last archway. There is a white metal gate which you can open with your room key. Walk along the corridor & press the red button on the door & it brings you out onto the main street. Watch out for the ‘large beer’ if you order one they will bring you a large boot which holds about 2 litres & costs 20 euros! Location is fantastic, less than 5 minutes from the centre.
