As there is plenty of places to stay in Sorrento, making a choice is down to preference in price, what you want, etc. We chose Malu B&B due to location, price and reviews. Locating the B&B is through instructions from Melania. These are pretty straightforward getting in. The B&B is located in a tower block and has 4 rooms all colour coded. We had the ‘black’ room with all the ‘mod con’s you need for a stay. The room was clean and very comfortable and served us well. Breakfast was served every morning which was a continental affair with fresh ‘cornetto’ which were lovely. The cappuccino’s were nice too. Overall a nice stay and convenient for Sorrento town centre which was a short walk. We had a couple of early starts and the B&B were very accommodating with breakfast which was much appreciated. Would recommend for Sorrento.

I had an overall lovely experience at this hotel. I paid 70 euros for a top-notch view (okay, it's a bit obstructed by a parking lot, but for 1 night and the price it was pretty incredible), balcony, and a clean, comfy room. Perfect! I only stayed one night as a stopover before going to Atrani, and it was great for one night in Sorrento. Prime location - I could walk to dinner, get a sense of the town, and the train station and ferry station were both close. I am a young woman with chronic pain/limited mobility traveling alone, and, even though Sorrento is not a very accessible city, I felt really comfortable at the hotel itself and felt that it suited my needs. Plus, I felt really safe, which is very important as a solo traveler.

“Excellent B&B with a really neat shower”

MaLu B&B was a perfect choice for us. It was affordable and in a great location, within walking distance to Sorrento city centre as well as the bus station. MaLu B&B was a perfect choice for us. It was affordable and in a great location, within walking distance to Sorrento city centre as well as the bus station. The B&B was clean and the breakfast was decent. We especially enjoyed the custom coloured lighting in the room as well as the shower. The shower also had a built-in radio, which I'd never seen in a B&B/hotel before. The staff do not speak English, so we communicated with Google translate and this worked well. The breakfast was also good too, but just a heads up that the staff didn't always arrive exactly at 8 am for breakfast service.

Great location and nice (but basic) continental breakfast. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The balcony overlooked a car park but despite the lack of views, was a lovely addition to the room as the sun hit it in the afternoon. My only minor complaint was that noise travels between the rooms so we could clearly hear the conversations in the next room and people coming and going in the night. We paid a tourist tax of 3 euro per person, per night on our arrival which was unexpected but may have just been an oversight on my part when booking.
