I stayed here from 5th July to 8th July for me and 2 friends, and we are all in our 20s. The room we required was a triple, which was one double bed and one single, which was fine for us, but if people like their own bed than this may be an issue. I sent an email to the hotel requesting a larger room as for 3 girls getting ready for a night out can be hectic, the room we got was lovely. It had two bathrooms and very big room. We were bothered about not having a sea view as to be honest it was nice to be slightly back from the beach as it can be noisy, and it was literally a 2 minute walk to the beach in the morning. The breakfast was nice, it was a buffet style with lots of variety; fruit, yoghurt, meats, bread etc. The staff were very welcoming and always said hello, there was nothing I could fault about them. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the maids who cleaned the room during our stay were excellent, they made the beds to perfection and always provided us with nice clean towels when requested. All in all, a brilliant hotel.

“Would not recommend”

Riccione is a happening place and reminded me of Costa del Sol: every square inch has been developed and utilized. Hotel Diamond is 3 blocks from the beach. It is not a sea front property. Riccione is a happening place and reminded me of Costa del Sol: every square inch has been developed and utilized. Hotel Diamond is 3 blocks from the beach. It is not a sea front property. There is paid parking outside the hotel but we ended up parking for free on the street. The rooms: tiny European rooms. You can basically barely walk around your bed. The bed was made of 2 twin size beds. Large bed. The bathroom was adequate. Overall clean rooms with your standard european 14" tv and dorm room fridge. The good thing is that you can remove all the overpriced items in the fridge and put your own. Breakfast: typical italian breakfast though boiled eggs were free!!!! The surprise of the trip as in most other hotels you had to pay extra for an egg or an omelette [ 3 to 7 euros per egg ]. Negative: we could basically listen in to every single thing happening in the room next door, from the annoying mobile ringtone, the mobile phone conversation, the snoring, the fart, etc. The walls between rooms must be super thin. I was awakened by most probably a nice lady who decided to wear her 10" high heels at 8:00 AM : every single foot step resonnated in our room. Would I stay again or recommend this hotel: It is an ok hotel with an ok price but I am sure you can find better value for your money in the area.
