The hotel is very basic (no minibar, shower is directly above the toilet, rooms are a bit run-down), but staff is both helpful and friendly. There is valet parking right outsidr the hotel which costs 6 euro and includes a space in a fenced area. A tip for the hotel: the music during breakfast is very loud. So early in the morning, you could turn it down a bit. Breakfast is surprisingly varied, and pretty good although the quality of the products is not outstanding (except for the delicious fresh fruit - an absolute treat!). All in all the hotel offers good value for money and is ideal for a short stay and if you're not looking for something luxurious.

“I had to put up with it”

I was not so much happy for, the hotel itself was not bad, but still a little tired. The bathroom was cramped so was the room too. I was not so much happy for, the hotel itself was not bad, but still a little tired. The bathroom was cramped so was the room too. The bed was really hard, an older type of mattress where you feel springs when you lie down and it's not nice. But it was clean, so at least it was nice. Wifi worked relatively well. Also good was that it wasn't far to the beach, just across the street. Parking was available, but you had to book it in advance and it cost according to me exorbitant amount, 10Euro per night. The breakfast was Italian, a lot of cakes, etc. I had to settle for toast, send and Edam cheese, there was no more to choose from. There was a Family hotel nearby and it was loud, so if you are sensitive to loud noises, choose another hotel. Although it might be difficult, the music is played almost everywhere. Apart from the music so there was a bit of activity for children and adults too probably, and it was noisy. So be a little careful if you decide to book a room at this hotel and maybe expect that it won't be as you think it will be when you see the pictures. I disliked · I booked Basic Double room with sea view, but not single room with small double bed Side sea view. There were also different prices and I chose the more expensive room because I wanted a full view of the sea, but instead only got a glimpse of the sea. And yet I haven't gotten the difference back. The pictures they have on the booking.com page do not correspond much to reality and when I pointed this out to the staff, I was told all the time that they are general pictures, etc. And they have misleading pictures, for example there is a nice picture, I thought it was outside the hotel at the entrance there, but in fact it's not down there but up on the terrace where it was a bit rubbish, no grass or artificial green carpet, no deckchairs. Likewise, there were no tables on the balconies either, maybe just one or two chairs. It was not possible to discuss anything with the staff.

The hotel rooms are basic, there was no safe or kettle for instance but the rooms were clean and we had a balcony that looked out onto the beach. For two nights though, we paid just under £50 so all in all, it was a great little find. A nice breakfast was included, we had a welcome drink too and the staff were all lovely. Our only disappointment though was that the waterpark had closed for the season which meant we had to pay to use a swimming pool.
