“Well-situated, warm, friendly, great coffee and abundant breakfasts”

We stayed at the Perla Hotel for a girlfriends' cycling trip this past week. We stayed at the Perla Hotel for a girlfriends' cycling trip this past week. Ernesto (the co-owner of the hotel with his sister Federica), hooked us up with affordable bike rentals and a guide (Massimo) who took us on 4 epic rides with gorgeous views and coffee stops in beautiful historic villages. Ernesto also made us the most delicious breakfasts to fuel our rides with eggs, fruit, yogurt, granola, Italian meats and cheeses, fresh croissants and the best coffees I have ever tasted, every morning. In the evenings, we would meet for happy hour at the coffeebar in the eclectic & fun lobby where Ernesto would make us cocktails or pour a Prosecco and help us plan dinner reservations at the best restaurants. Ernesto is well-traveled, worldly and knowledgeable about so many topics. He was an invaluable resource and so interesting to talk to. The rooms have recently been renovated and are modern, clean and comfortable with a balcony, closet space, a TV (not that we had time to watch anything on TV), a safe, hairdryer, a kettle, cups and tea, daily maid service and optional laundry service (which I used). Apparently there are theme rooms, though I did not stay in one. There is a swimming pool, though we didn't use it, as the weather wasn't warm enough. The hotel is a block from the beach. And walking everywhere is easy: shops, and the best gelato located just around the corner! It was everything- and more - than I expected. Will 100% return. Brill location, handy for Chora. Room large, very clean, Not many persons staying so peaceful. Stunning veiws. Good value compared to nearby hotels. Perhaps keep a few in store, plus milk packets would be a nice touch. Areti is very good at her job, attentive to details and want her guests to have the best holiday possible
