For us it was a transit night, just in our way to Lago di Garda. We did not used the kitchen, we went out for dinner and eat a great pizza at Fratelli Da Bufala. The bed was large and the the hitting system was working properly. The hot water was a isaster, after my husband had a shower me and my daughter wait an hour hoping that water will warm up, but we made it with cold water at the end. It was hard to go to the terrace of the apartment, with access from the bathroom, as the door was blocked by the shower cabin. The view over the city and the port from terrace of our room (8th floor) is fantastic. Trieste is a splendid city with a lot of wonderful city sites. The position of the residence is very good close to the downtown and port. You can have a pleasant walk in surroundings. We book it for the free parking place, but when we arrived it was a question mark ... , we lost 1h to find a parking place, not sure ... in front of the hotel. For 1 night and no need of kitchen was ok, but pretty expensive for just bed and no breakfast (90 € with taxes).

“Convenient and clean ”

I Stayed here over night on a business trip. A large room with a great view over the city and out across the bay from the terrace. The room was clean, tidy and everything I needed was in the apartment. I arrived later in the evening after the reception was closed and so was given instruction to get key and a number if there were any problems or questions. The instruction included a short video of everything I needed to know. I slept well and the bed was comfortable. The location is great and friendly staff.

The location is perfect of this property. The room was spacious. I was suprised how well equipped the kitchen was. The lady on the reception was really welcoming. The location is perfect of this property. The room was spacious. I was suprised how well equipped the kitchen was. The lady on the reception was really welcoming. There is washing machine in the bathroom, so it is a good place for longer staying as well. The only thing maybe that was "negative" the shower stall was a little bit small.

“Keep expectations low, very basic”

My spouse and I recently stayed in an apartment with sea view (on the top floor) for 5 nights. Here are the pros and cons: Cons: Check-in - This was the most bizzare and confusing check in we have experienced. The front door is locked. Fortunately there was another customer inside who let us in. He was equally confused because the reception desk closed at 1pm. But check in is clearly stated that it is after 2pm. We stood around for a while wondering what to do. A man later showed up who worked there (we would find out later that he is the main employee there) and he opened a tiny box (that looked like a safe) that contained various envelopes with keys. The envelopes had our names on them He seemed very frustrated with all of us that we did not know how to check in. Apparently there is a PIN code that was given that we (and the other guest) overlooked. Later that day another guest appeared in the lobby equally confused and she also did not know the drill. Why the reception would close at the time of check-in is beyond me. Cleanliness - The apartment was clean if you didn't look too close. Behind furniture and windows, doors, corners were not clean at all. Furniture - Adequate but very dated. No extra pillows or extra anything at all. Sheets were thin. Bed was decently comfortable. Bathroom - Shower was absolutely disgusting with mold and mildew. We just tried not to look too close. Only 2 rolls of cheap toilet paper. Parking - The most reliable parking was several blocks away. Pros: Space - Very spacious - lots of room throughout the apartment. A/C - Worked very well Sound and light - Very quiet at night and dark Price - Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for View from the balcony - Awesome Location - Easy walking distance to the main sights of Trieste. Small grocery and bar around the corner. Restaurants everywhere. In all, this place was extremely basic and dated. Functional. It's very self-service. You are basically on your own here.
