The hotel (rather an ugly building in my opinion!) is situated in a quiet residential district about 15 - 20 minutes walk away from the centre of Lecce. The reception staff were very pleasant although on asking, they couldn’t supply me with a non-slip shower mat - I was told to use a towel on the floor of the shower! The room was a little bit gloomy as there was a lot of dark coloured plastic "wood" on the walls and furniture - plenty of space for luggage and storage. However, the lighting was excellent and the whole room looked very different with the lights on! Tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge were provided. Air con. worked very well and kept the temperature at what you had set. Bathroom was quite spacious and everything worked. Breakfast was good with all the usual cold meats, cheeses, etc, and a good range of hot items (scrambled eggs, sausages, beans,. bacon, etc.) Good fruit salads and fruit juices and a good range of cakes and pastries - delicious! I tried the a la carte menu at the restaurant one evening and the food was very good - well worth trying if you don't fancy the walk into town in the evening. The area around the hotel was very quiet with very few shops and restaurants but there was a very good gelateria a short distance away - delicious gelato and open quite late in the evening.

Hotel was average, rooms large but nothing special. I would describe it as pretty average for a 4* hotel. The major let down and biggest surprise was the restaurant, it offered a very basic menu and a lot of frozen food! I asked for a 'green' salad one evening and was given a large bowl full of chopped iceberg lettuce and nothing else!!

“Nice but a bit far from the historical center”

Modern hotel outside the historical center- about a 25- 30 minute walk away. Spacious room but rather dark due to several walls covered in a dark wood laminate. There was a large desk and a safe. There were 4 outlets scattered around the room but no USB ports. Adequate hanging space for clothes. … more

Modern hotel outside the historical center- about a 25- 30 minute walk away. Spacious room but rather dark due to several walls covered in a dark wood laminate. There was a large desk and a safe. There were 4 outlets scattered around the room but no USB ports. Adequate hanging space for clothes. The room has lots of odd cubbies for storage. The headboard with attached shelving in lieu of nightstands was made for a king bed; but the bed in the room was a queen making it difficult to reach items on the shelves from the bed. The bathroom was quite large and had a tub/shower combo. Water pressure was good but the tub floor was extremely slippery. The supplied hair dryer only provided hot air at low speed. Lots of counter space. Breakfast was a very nice buffet with a lot of local food items. Staff friendly and helpful. There is adequate parking for cars. Its location is the main drawback- but finding a hotel with parking in the center city is almost impossible.

This hotel is never a 4* . Plastic cups for the fruit juice and plastic spoons to eat your yoghurt with. Milk,hot water & cups are always in short supply. This hotel is never a 4* . Plastic cups for the fruit juice and plastic spoons to eat your yoghurt with. Milk,hot water & cups are always in short supply. Choice of cereals limited and only 1 choice of preserves. Food in the evening was luke warm and of poor quality. Our shower constantly stopped working, and the temperature was all over the place. This hotel needs refurbishment.
