Wow! Patria Palace is such an amazing hotel. The building and rooms are gorgeous, but what truly made the experience is the staff. They are absolutely wonderful and so very attentive. I wish I could remember everyone's names, but I do remember Asia who helped me when I first checked in. Such a sweet and very knowledgeable staff member. My Italian is lacking to say the least, but their whole team speaks impeccable English. Daily breakfast was gorgeous and delicious. As well, when I was there, during breakfast there was either a violinist or harpist playing. This added so nicely to the exquisite ambiance. I never made it to dinner, but the menu was very inviting. I was able to have cocktails in their beautiful bar, which felt like being in the film, Casablanca. The bartenders were impressive and the stuzzichini were delicious. I do hope to have the chance to return to Patria Palace. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

My wife and I I recently stayed at the Patria Palace Hotel. It's located in the heart of the historical district of Lecce. Our first example of the world class service offered by the hotel was that when we couldn't find our way through the maze of streets, the hotel dispatched someone to come and get us and drive our car to the hotel. The service while there was a perfect blend of personal and professional. Something typically experienced at Four Season's class hotels. The hotel is privately owned and everything is spotless. A great experience.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location with good double-glazed windows and thick curtains to prevent noise and light disturbing one's sleep. Very clean and good amenities, though occasionally one has to ask for a kettle or tea bags to be brought when they are not in the rooms. Furniture in some room… more

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location with good double-glazed windows and thick curtains to prevent noise and light disturbing one's sleep. Very clean and good amenities, though occasionally one has to ask for a kettle or tea bags to be brought when they are not in the rooms. Furniture in some rooms can be irritating, more for looks than comfort. No desks/tables to write on, and low sofas that are not comfortable for backs. Beds however are large and comfortable. What stands out is the excellence of the staff. They are helpful beyond what might be expected. Nothing is too much trouble. When we were unhappy with a room, they changed it. When we asked for an extra chair in our room, they brought it immediately. We were extremely happy with the service here, from the main reception desk and at breakfast.

“Beautiful hotel, lovely waiting staff, be aware that they do not have heating on in their rooms and it took some effort”

Room was pleasant, bathroom swish but no source of heating and towels stay wet, paticularly as the sun never gets to hotel windows as they face walls. Room was very clean but cold. Breakfast was spectacular and staff we lovely, nothing was too much trouble.
