A Hidden Gem in Puglia – Exceptional Value, Amazing Beach & Fantastic All-Inclusive Experience We stayed at Vivosa Apulia Resort from 30th May to 6th June 2026 and had an absolutely wonderful holiday. Travelling from England, our goal was to explore the beautiful Puglia and Salento region and Vivosa proved to be the perfect base. What surprised us most was the incredible value for money. We travelled during an Italian public holiday week, yet the cost was still only a fraction of what we would have paid for many other European sunshine destinations. The location is outstanding. The beach is exactly what we had hoped for – crystal-clear water, soft sand and stunning scenery. Having visited the Maldives several times, I can honestly say this beach gave us many of the same feelings. It is truly spectacular. One of the unexpected highlights was the sheer length of the beach. I was able to walk along the seafront all the way to Torre Mozza and back, a round trip of approximately two hours. The coastline is beautiful, well maintained and throughout our stay the entire area felt extremely safe and secure. The all-inclusive offering exceeded expectations and was a real celebration of Italian cuisine. Although buffet-style, everything was exceptionally fresh, with numerous dishes cooked to order. There was a dedicated grill serving freshly prepared meat, fish and chicken, alongside regional specialities, incredible salad selections and delicious desserts. The drinks package was equally impressive. Being in this part of Italy, the quality of the wine was outstanding. Excellent red, white and rosé wines, together with Prosecco, were available by the glass, half-litre carafe or full bottle on request. There was also a great selection of spirits and a variety of Italian and German beers. The resort itself is immaculate, spacious and beautifully maintained. There are numerous swimming pools, water slides and an abundance of sun loungers – we never struggled to find one. A special mention must go to the Scirocco Beach Bar, which was fantastic. Drinks were available all day, along with lunch specials, meaning there was never any reason to leave the beach. We reserved loungers and an umbrella at the Cocoloco Beach area, approximately 20 metres from Scirocco (A1 position), which offered a quieter and more spacious setting. Staff regularly served drinks and snacks throughout the day, and late-morning Prosecco and panini became a favourite ritual. Our room was spotless throughout the stay, cleaned daily with fresh towels provided every day. I also used the gym regularly, which featured excellent Technogym equipment and was one of the better hotel gyms I have experienced. My only suggestion for improvement would be opening earlier than 7:30am, as I prefer to train early and maximise the day. The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional in every department. A special thank you to Sabrina, who looked after us so well at Cocoloco and made our stay even more enjoyable. There is plenty to do for guests of all ages, including a football pitch, padel courts, tennis courts and numerous organised activities. One of the resort's most unique features is the beautiful woodland area running through the centre of the property between the resort and the beach, creating a wonderful natural atmosphere. Overall, Vivosa Apulia Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're looking for an authentic Italian holiday with fantastic food, excellent all-inclusive facilities, stunning beaches, a safe and relaxed atmosphere, and outstanding value for money, I would highly recommend it. 5/5 – We will definitely return.

Excellent Vacation and experience. Food, Kids club, staff, beach all great. The fitness club stand out for the professionalism and cleanliness. The coach Antonino is OUTSTANDING! He is not only a passionate qualify fitness professional. He is also an osteopath that understand the physiology and mechanics of the muscle skeleton system, this allow him to personalize the training. He resolved my back pain that I was having for long time in very small amount of time. I was impressed honestly! The indoor gym unfortunately is too small. I wish the Vivosa resort hat a bigger indoor gym.

“Deception”

We came here 6 years ago and it was absolutely amazing on every level. We wanted to come back. But what a disappointment… it has turned into a factory! If you’re looking for peace and quiet, there are way too many kids (poorly behaved, though that’s not the hotel’s fault)! You really feel the vibe of the “new rich” Italians, competing to show who’s made it best, with a nanny for their kids or rude teenagers who already look down on everyone. The positives: Yes, we ate very well, and a few of the longtime staff are still very friendly. The setting is beautiful, the pools are very large and pleasant. There are water fountains everywhere. You can’t really get around without booking through the excursion service. The grounds are well maintained. The path to the beach is still just as fantastic. The downside: The spa is nice but honestly, the massage was so basic, like it was done by a student just wanting to finish her shift. My 12-year-old daughter gives the same kind of massages. Disappointed. The negative: Be careful at the beach—don’t get tricked into booking your spot in advance at Cocoloco. It’s way too expensive and the loungers are too close together! It’s outrageous, and they tell you that otherwise you won’t get a spot. That’s not true! There are plenty of free spots, and when you arrive, they repeat ten times that it’s non-refundable. No wonder—once you see it, you’d want your money back. The worst: the cleaning ladies! So unfriendly. We’re on holiday, and they come by at 8 am!? They knock on the doors or, if you put up the “do not disturb” sign, they make as much noise as possible right outside your room to wake you up, or they come in anyway! Not a smile, not a kind word. Ladies, maybe think about changing careers—and don’t expect any tips! In short, I’ll definitely keep the memory of my first stay here, which is why I’m giving a good rating, and will quickly try to forget this vacation…
