We, an Austrian family with our two kids, (7 and 11 Years) spent 20 wonderful days staying there at a mobile home in Baia di Campi. We think it is the most attractive beach in this region. Extremly friendly and helpful staff- special THX to Monica & Vito. We also had a lot of fun with Juan and his animation-team, they are tactful and creative, especially their music and dance performances are really on a high artistic level! And we also enjoyed a lot the wind surfing lessons with Lorenzo & Stefano. For us it were the best family holidays since ever!! Bello impossibile:-)

“clean and beautiful”

We were stayig 3 nights in July, 2 adults, 2 kids (4 and 7), tent, car, electricity (ca. 140E). This was the best serviced camping we found during our 2 weeks tour in Italy. Toilets clean and well located. Places well shaded, lots of trees (usually pines). Animation - italian standard :) Expensive but as compared to other campings we visited, price matches well for its quality. Now - what I liked best is its location and athmosphere. The camping is set between a local Gargano road and beautiful bay with white cliffs on the sides, but the camping ground level is only 3m above sea level so the access to the beach is easy (no stairs). Beach of small stones that do not disturb much when lying on a towel, but I recommend special rubber shoes for swimming, as walking is not too pleasant for your bare feet :) There is a market, a restaurant and a bar inside the camp - all OK. Also there was a guy with fresh fish and seafood every morning and a stand with vegatables and other local produce. We were sorry to leave the place so soon, but kids pressed to go on for a sandy beach. However this is the place we will remember as our most beautifull camping in Italy.

We have been there at the end of the season, there were hardly any people, really nice beach, lack of tourists. You can rent kayaks to look around the nearby cliffs and caves. We have been there at the end of the season, there were hardly any people, really nice beach, lack of tourists. You can rent kayaks to look around the nearby cliffs and caves. There is a really nice shop, too bad the restaurant was closed. The apartment is really nice and clean, the kitchen is not very well equipped but you can make a breakfast, coffee and some pasta. Huge fridge! :) Option for bbq! Nice view in front of the house.

“If you need peace this is not the place! It is also not for boats!”

I have spent 21 days in this camping, so I can say that I can write a review. I will start and say the good things. As many others have noticed the structure is very nice and clean, clean bathrooms, lots of shade, lots of space. The beach is pubbles (little stones), water is clean. What I've found really impossible was all the noise in the camping. It seams that Italians really love animation and "divertimento", as they have animation every day from 22.00 till almost 00.00, with loud music, shows and lots more. Well this is ok, if you like such things, but if you are looking froward to relax in what is the splendid Gargano nature, then it is not really a good choice. Then they also have camping rules that say that it's not allowed to make noise from 00.00 to 07.00. Unfortunately I experineced a lot of noise... actually I can say that I slept well just the few days when there was bad weather (no animation and no people that would speak so loud and listen to loud music as they were alone in the whole camping). And it is quite expensive, as we paid 35,50 € per day (2 people, tent, car, electricity). Well they gave us 5 % discount as we really stayed 21 days, but it was nothing special for the stuff. A normal "thank you" and that's it. Last but not least: we usually carry with us a small inflatable boat (gommone). On eurocamping we've found inforamtion that it is possible to have such a boat in this camping. Well... not really true! Everyday people will come to you saying that you have to carry your boat to the tent otherwise sombody is going to steal it... we didn't as only the engine weight is 44 kg - and fortunately it was not stolen (not so for another one). But we were nervous all the time. It is also not allowed to have the boat anchored in the bay (but then enormous tourist boat come every day full with tourists), so you have to put out the boat every day...
