Lovely hotel only a short walk into the town and harbour where there's a good choice of restaurants. Our room was large and on a corner. Our balcony, although not very wide, wrapped around two sides of the room so we had views over the pool and towards the sea. The bar area inside in nice but the outside area is even better! As with all hotels the breakfast buffet was very busy with queues for the coffee machines. The choice was adequate. The evening meal was quite good with excellent service. We stayed in 3 different hotels as we toured around the area and this was the best one.

We loved this hotel, the staff were so friendly, especially on reception. Our room was large, with two good-sized wardrobes, a safe, toiletries, fridge, and a balcony with drying facilities. Decor is a bit dated but very much in the italian style you find in most hotels in Italy. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linens were really high quality. Air conditioning was a bit warm the first night, and you can't change the temperature in the room. However, if you go to reception, they can adjust it for you, and then it was great. The hotel is relaxing and quiet, the pool area was beautiful and peaceful, with lots of beds and chairs but it can get a bit busy later in the afternoon. We ate at the pool bar, the food was simple, a bit slow to come out sometimes but it was really tasty. They also have a good selection of drinks, including proper coffees, beers, wines, and ice cream. The pool was much larger than we expected a good depth all the way along, and you can do a really good length when swimming. Lots of spaces for your car if you have one however, again, it does get busy in the later afternoon. We didn't eat in the restaurant however we did have breakfast, it was a bit basic, the selection of items is good however the quality is not the best we've experienced in Iraly. The hotel is so convenient for the town and beach it is literally a 5 min walk to the promenade with all the restaurants and bars and around 7 mins to the old town. We loved to walk down in the morning and then again at night to watch the sunset, get some drinks, and then dinner. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to be back.

“A Pleasant Stay”

“All in all a good stay”

We had a nice stay at the hotel Vittoria. The location is perfect for the beach, old town and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. The front desk staff are lovely. The hotel feels like it’s used for lots of tours which means breakfast is hardly relaxing and the wait for the coffee machine is painful. My recommendation is to go for breakfast after 8:30 am. The pool is lovely and peaceful (and very clean) and despite booking.com warning the pool closed for the season on the 15th it was still open. The rooms are functional but large, our doors didn’t always lock so I’d suggest checking them regularly. The bed was too hard for me so I don’t sleep to well. The Wi-Fi also was not working in the rooms but apparently it was a network issue not the hotel one. The air-con is controlled at the front desk and they kindly turned it down for us. The spa is 30 euros per person for 90 minutes. All in all for what we paid with a great location and pool I think it’s a fair price. Just to note on otranto that it is difficult to reach via public transport when the Salento bus service is not running (it is a summer service only).
