In a dream location our stay in this hotel was perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean, well organised rooms and a good choice of lunch options, not much more expensive than you would find in any restaurant in Alghero. It is situated a 5 minute walk from Fertilia where there is a choice of restaurants for evening meals if you don't want to eat in the hotel. There is a good sized swimming pool and an infinitely pool as well as a beach in front to the hotel. Possibly a bit more expensive than hotels in Alghero but worth but well worth it.

Stayed here in October, cocktails + bar snacks real good Pool good but cold in October Customer service extremely good, the lady that attended to us was super lovely, smiley and friendly. Would recommend renting car, would be fine if not but there’s so much to do and we felt like it would have been a lot of bus and taxi fees. Lots of nice beaches in area la bombarde was our favourite as it was small and quiet and good food. We also took a visits to la pelosa which we thought was a bit of a scam, we paid £6 for be on the beach (fine, we didn’t mind) As we was checking in to la pelosa we was informed that our own beach towels were forbidden and we must but THEIR own mats Over all the beach were stunning with white sand and crystal clear waters. We took a road trip to bosa which was a hour drive and was one of the best drives me and my partner had ever done, the views are insane and on our way home the sun set which was amazing, along the road there’s plenty of lay-bys where you can stop off and get some stunning photos. Hotel isnt far from Alghero but would be a long walk, alghero is lovely really beautiful local all lovely. THANK YOU FOR A LOVELY STAY PUNTA NEGRA!! We hope to return.

“Fabulous views, abundance of sunbeds, great staff”

Beautiful hotel, immaculate grounds, fantastic position on the seafront. It's greatest assets are it's staff and the Seaviews. Beautiful hotel, immaculate grounds, fantastic position on the seafront. It's greatest assets are it's staff and the Seaviews. Our Seaview balcony room was a good size, good sized bathroom, great shower, good air-conditioning, fabulous view, kept very clean. The breakfast sadly let the hotel down, food wasn't replenished very quickly and wasn't very warm, another coffee machine is desperately needed, always a lengthy queue. Staff work hard clearing tables so always a table available. The evening meals were good, the seabream was outstanding! The bar staff were friendly and efficient. The chap on the piano/synthesiser most evenings although I'm sure a lovely gent, was atrocious, could barely play and singing a lot to be desired. Fertilia only a short flat walk away is run down and not much there save for a small supermarket and a few bar/restaurants. The ribs in Cohibo were to die for, La Paguero was OK, though the pizzas looked to be the best choice. Sottoprua was excellent, lovely food, attentive service, great ambience and good playlist. At the hotel, there were ample sunbeds around both pools and the beach. The sand is soft and white, the sea crystal clear and easily accessed. Alghero is definitely worth a visit, the old town is romantic and charming. We booked a boat trip, Elena excursions, a fab day out, great food, friendly informative host, and free flowing wine! Missing those views and the vibe already.

If you are looking for a very quiet and relaxing holiday then this hotel is the one for you. However if you are looking for some vibrancy or some entertainment with plenty of choice to dine out then look to stay in the centre of Algherro itself as Fertilla where the hotel is situated is somewhat isolated. Although there is a regular bus service from the centre of Fertilla to Algherro you are probably best hiring a car. We found the hotel to be expensive... their BBQ or themed nights were 50 euros per person (including children) drinks not included!! Hence we did not dine in the hotel we booked Room Only there is a small Co-op in Fertilla which helped but you are not permitted to keep any food or drink items in the mini bar which is somewhat ludricous!! There are a few restaurants in Fertilla which are reasonably priced our favourite was Cohiba which had an extensive menu but booking a reservation is advisable as it is popular. Couldn't fault the hotel staff including the cleaners all of whom were very friendly and attentive. The hotel pools are salt water rather than chlorine there are plently of sun beds with very large parasols which were ideal for keeping a family in the shade!! The private beach is fine although a bit smelly at times akin to rotten eggs!! But Bombarde Beach is only 2km away which was a far nicer beach and great for snorkelling with ample car parking. Our room was a superior room with a sea view which was worth the upgrade for stunning views over to Algherro and looking across to the beach. You could hear the waves lapping the shoreline from your bed!! The hotel is on a flight path but this didn't really bother us as there weren't too many flights and they seemed to stop early evenings. Overall a really nice hotel but depending what you are looking for a little isolated....
