My husband and I visited in mid September. We are in our mid fifties. This small hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. It has a small private beach, which is sandy and easy to get into the warm sea. There is seaweed on the beach, but it is not intrusive and the staff of the hotel work hard to keep the beach pristine. There are plenty of sunbeds available (although it is fair to say they are not particularly comfortable as they have no give in them) and there is a lifeguard on duty. The rooms are small, but functional. The brochure states they all have garden views, but our view was of a sloping roof and if you peered over said rooftop, you could see the bins! Not a place you would want to watch the sunset from! The bed was hard and uncomfortable and we were only given two pillows, which were flatter than the bedspread!! A lovely lady who was cleaning the rooms did find and give us extra and fatter pillows however. The tv only has half a dozen channels and these are all in German or Italian, who made up a majority of the guests at the hotel when we were there. No coffee making facilities. There are only two plugs, one for the TV and one for the fridge, but we always take a four socket extension with us, so no problems there. The bathroom was very clean and perfectly adequate. Food in the buffet restaurant was plentiful and the chefs were very artistic in their creations to use the leftovers. I am not a fan of overcooked cold broccoli salad, but I am rather fussy :) Most of the food was meat based and my husband thought the food wonderful. I do not eat a lot of meat and sometimes found it difficult to find something to eat. Also, it was difficult to see what was in each dish as this was not presented. I found walnuts in a salad I was eating, (which I do like, but did not expect). This could be difficult for someone with a nut allergy. Also, it was difficult to ascertain what meats were in the salads (I do not eat pork products), so I did not chance sampling many of the salads available. The prawns were fantastic, but only out on one day. A table is allocated to you on your first day, which is a brilliant idea and the staff in the dining hall were attentive and friendly. Everything was very clean and tidy. I do not drink caffeine for medical reasons and had to buy a decaffeinated coffee - which really should have been offered as part of the All Inclusive in my opinion. There was only one bar open when we were there and that was near the beach. It served an adequate amount of drinks available on the All Inclusive, but was limited compared to other holidays we have had. However, the bar staff again worked extremely hard and were friendly and helpful. The tables and chairs around the bar were cheap plastic and did not add to the lovely surroundings. Also, the music, which was played all day, was really awful. Cover versions in jazz of songs like Thriller, were really dreadful and I am only glad I never have to hear the version of Roxanne, which was played several times, again. The "entertainer" in the evening had a lovely voice, but only sang what could be described as "lift music". There was nowhere else to go as you could not take drinks back to your room and this was the only place to sit, so the evenings were rather spoiled for us personally. Finally, the hotel is in a remote area. There is a good bus service, which is reasonable and the bus stop is directly outside the hotel. The local towns are not large and do not provide a lot of entertainment. However, a visit to the tower in Posada is worth a visit for the views alone and Budoni has shops and restaurants if you fancy a change. We did book a mini cruise with the hotel, which was very reasonably priced and the grotto we stopped at (which cost an extra 10 euros) was amazing. It was rather crowded, but worth the price paid for a day out and to see some of the incredible Sardinian coastline. All in all, if you are looking for peace and quiet and do not want to go running about the countryside, this hotel is ideal for you. Scrupulously clean, friendly and helpful staff, plentiful good food and peace and quiet. Just not quite for us.
