We stayed here for five nights. We realized that it probably would have been better to have a car for that length of stay since the evening dining options are somewhat limited. There is a buffet for 60 euro a person and fine dining restaurant. Otherwise your dinner choices are to grab a pizza early by the pool or walk to a restaurant on the beach that books up quickly. There is also the water situation. I was expecting that we would have some water made available complimentary in the room, but other than two welcome bottles you are buying a lot of water (it was quite hot during our stay). We learned the day before we checked out that there is a water package available, but didn’t know about that earlier. That aside, the resort is landscaped beautifully, like a flower oasis and the grounds smell fresh and floral. The rooms are incredibly spacious, like mini villas and are kept very clean. You have your own outdoor seating and a table as well. I really appreciated how they managed the beach as well, with assigned sun loungers and an umbrella for the length of your stay. You also have access to showers, a beach bar and toilets which make for a relaxing beach experience. The breakfast buffet had hot and cold options with lots of choices and the pool bar or beach bar were great for lunch and snacks. And you’ll be hard pressed to find single use plastics, which I loved. All in all we had a very enjoyable and relaxing week.

“Romantic Getaway”

The hotel facility is quite charming with beautiful landscape. The rooms are a bit small but just need to plan accordinagly if you know this in advance. The beach is jus a walk away and very beautiful with a restaurant and restrooms at the beach. Overall very nice

I have to be honest, I don’t think this place deserves 4 stars. We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of September. We frequently travel around the world and this was the most disappointing “4 star” hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The staff here are not polished. It’s a lot of young staff members who don’t seem to know a thing about hospitality. They seem to want to upcharge for everything. On our first evening we requested an iron/ steamer and were told they don’t give them out and that we could pay to have things ironed which required a 48 hour turnaround. I’ve been to hotels around the world, much nicer than this, and none have ever denied us an iron/steamer. If you want the first row of sunbeds, that’s an extra 60 euro a day and for the second row it’s 40 euro a day. Most days most of the two front rows sat empty. The woman at the beach bar always looked miserable. If you want to stay after checkout they charge you for each hour. Even little things like coffee at breakfast you had to make yourself and wait in a long line to do so. There is no quiet luxury here which is sad because we felt it at every other (3 hotels) we stayed at on this trip to Italy. The breakfast buffet was one of the worst I’ve ever been to. The food was covered in flies. Most of what was served was clearly frozen items and many that you’d think would be served warm (ie waffles) were cold. Even the fruit was gross. The only thing I ate on our stay was a made to order omelette and pre-packaged yogurt. We heard from others that the dinner buffet was equally as bad, so we never went. The pool and beach have only a few choices for food which was disappointing. We did dine at the alacarte restaurant multiple times and found that adequate although nothing special. Drinks were good. The grounds are very pretty and well kept. The buildings that house the rooms are also very cute. Some people mentioned the rooms are small, and they are, but we found it to be adequate. The AC worked very well. The issue with the rooms are that the walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbors anytime we were both in our rooms. One day we went to shower in the late evening (had not used the shower since the evening before) and we were greeted with ice cold water. I told the front desk the next morning as it was almost 9pm at that point and I felt completely brushed off. This makes me assume they don’t have enough hot water in the buildings for all of the rooms. We were sent a bottle of champagne the next evening which we assumed was for this issue but when we asked the person delivering it they had no idea - strange. This place would also benefit from having the small pool be adults only. There were a good amount of kids at each daily so we never went. The biggest positive to this place was that the beach was wonderful and we enjoyed the sectioned off area for the hotel. It was a short walk across the street. The water was beautiful and clear and the beach itself was sandy and long. Anyone who has been to truly luxury hotels/resorts will be able to tell right away this place is an imposter trying to be one. For the price we felt it was a fine stay but don’t expect anyone to go out of their way for you here or for you to be blown away with any part of your stay. Unfortunately this was our second choice hotel since the nearby adults only La Villa del Re which is a 5 star, was booked for the time we wanted.
